NOTE: written from the night of 13 to June 14, 2011. It was supposed to become an Aoi/Ruki fic for the birthday of all too fabulous crack queen, heygeorge. I'm letting it go now, though, remembering it only as simply a bandfic scene if you like :) Written on My Chemical Romance's fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, FINE ALBUM FOR CRACK, AND AWESOME AND POST-APOCALYPITIC AND SCI-FI FICS IF ONE ASKS ME

Also, I have a note to the entry I started writing this fic with which says: note: I'd just like to say that fraud_lover is an amazing author. yes. If I remember correctly (and I'm positive I do), back then I was reading the fabulousness that fraud_lover was with her works, finding them truly inspiring and making me want to write like her. I would direct you to her fabulous fics right now but I just discovered they are no more at the moment. By this point I can honestly say that I met one of the best chaptered stories writers in the whole j-rock fandom through her and I feel happy and lucky I did. *offers her respects to fraud_lover*

-------

The metropolis stands solemnly in the background with its sky scrapers facing the infinity above. It seems the vertical blocks have no eyes for anything else that do not compete their majesty.

The rays of sun reach out under the dark clouds on the last car at the top of the car cemetery, Reita reaching the highest point of it, and it's like the gods themselves show him the way, opening the path. In the blowing wind Reita turns his head around to his back and gives the signal roaring savagely. This is the big moment.

An army of blond bleached women all wearing bandanas roar viciously back to their leader following him over the limit. Thousands of white dots unleash the beginning of the attack.

This must be maybe Reita's best dream by this point in this life. It could be a premium dvd, pointing a pioneer opener of the 21 century of new sci-fi generation in movie history, but this is the farthest it will ever gonna reach: in Reita's head, unfinished.

When Reita wakes up, adrenaline pumping up his entire system, he realizes there is no female vicious army following but only his mobile phone causing a horrible massive surround reverberating noise with all their amplifiers in the studio.

This story is not about Reita though.

"Shit." Reita looks at the clock and he knows it's getting late already.

-------

"I can't believe that no one woke me up!" Reita scowls Ruki at the table. "That was the deal, right?"

Ruki snickers. "You were just sleeping too sweetly. Uruha said we should give you a couple more minutes."

"Minutes my ass..."

The McDonalds in the downtown of Tokyo was already packed outside with people hurrying to snatch their breakfasts and run to their jobs or schools.

"And what the fuck are they doing there?"

-------

"When I was your age I was early in school," Aoi completely lies shamelessly. Well, in Aoi's opinion his generation was definitely better than this new young generation too caught up in the technology he's also prisoner of, but who cares really about constructing argumentation when your age plays the upper hand?

"What's the problem here?" Uruha interferes with his suddenly more than tall imposing stature near the bratty boys gathered beside Aoi.

The little devils switch their scrutinizing looks from Aoi to Uruha and indeed the way they react verbally violent indicates they're actually intimidated by the tall man.

"What's your problem, dude?"

"They simply stole my spot! They elbowed me putting themselves in front," Aoi angrily explains to Uruha.

Uruha looks at the big line of people in front. "What the hell is with this early crowd?" he mutters absentmindedly.

"I know! That's what I thought too." And turning around the to four brats he spat once more "Go to school! Your place is not here skipping your class."

"Shut up, old man."

Aoi squints his eyes, tilting his head a little, and Uruha knows he has to do something. Now.

"Now, now, Aoi," he tentatively reaches a hand in the air ready to hold back whatever it might be happening next.

"Hey, what's up?" Kai enters the frame. He's wearing a white shirt that leaves his hands completely bare. "What's the problem? Oh, I just see the menu I want to pick today" he says looking completely clueless while he simply just pushes his way in, past Aoi and Uruha, past the four teenagers, ignoring everyone, just where his Aoi's initial spot has been. He keeps looking preoccupied with trying to read from distance the colorfully displayed menus. His neck is stretched to the distance and he keeps moving his head from side to side to catch a better view. He then swiftly turns around casually. "There is no problem lying in the air now, right boys?" He sweetly eyes each and every one of them. "You see, I love mayonnaise and it seems that I'm actually not supposed to eat it as of late. While doing this long months diet without mayonnaise and all the other things that I love turned me into a better person." He concentrates his stare to the boy looking the most imposing. "Nothing can get me away from taking my mayonnaise today". The boy looks at him and strangely he finds himself silent to a smart answer to give, being a little bit taken aback by this charming man and his dazzling smile that seems to season words that have an uncommon threatening resonance.

Kai turns to Aoi and Uruha flashing them a sweet smile. "So what's your order?" he asks casually.

Aoi mumbles his pick while Uruha openly smirks in admiration to Kai. "I think I'll try something new today," Uruha announces.

"I'll be at the tables," Aoi tiredly says and turns to leave.
