“Ne, Kao…” Toshiya said.
“Yes?” He answered lovingly. How could he not feel sappy when someone called him in a beautiful way like that?
“I want to be a kamen raider when I was 5!”
Kaoru laughed at the innocent statement. He ruffled the giggling boy’s head.
“And then…when I was 10, I wanted to be an astronaut!”

THE SECOND DREAM
On the balcony, a little boy was sitting on a chair with his foot swaying excitedly. He admired the far faraway galaxy through the lenses of his mini telescope. His uncle bought it for him when he was 10, he knew that his nephew always wanted to be an astronaut.
The balcony’s door slid open and a man came out. For a moment, he just stood there on the door frame, watching his young lover sitting alone and singing ‘twinkle-twinkle little star’. Kaoru smiled at the cute sight, but the cold wind made him remember his first intention.
He approached the boy. “Totchi…” He called softly.
“Hm?” The boy turned his head around and met with a kiss on the lips from his older lover. He giggled cutely.
Kaoru broke off their kiss and pulled the boy up from his chair only to sit himself on it and then sat Toshiya on his lap. He opened the blanket that he brought and covered himself with it. Then he hugged Toshiya from behind, shielding the fragile creature from the piercing cold wind.
Toshiya looked up while Kaoru looked down, they were staring into each other’s eyes. Toshiya quickly forgot his telescope and hugged the bigger man, snuggling closer to the warm body.
“Ne, Kao…” Toshiya said.
“Yes?” He answered lovingly. How could he not feel sappy when someone called him in a beautiful way like that?
“I want to be a kamen raider when I was 5!”
Kaoru laughed at the innocent statement. He ruffled the giggling boy’s head.
“And then…when I was 10, I wanted to be an astronaut!”
Kaoru was amazed. “Really? I didn’t know that! Well, that’s a good dream!”
“Uhuh…but, it only last for 2 years. Then when I was 12, I wanted to be a designer or comic writer until now. But…” He stopped and suddenly looked confused.
“But what?”
“Umm…is it possible for someone to have 2 dreams?
“Of course! You can do anything as long you have the will and effort!”
“Really?” Toshiya tilted his head.
“Trust me.” Kaoru smiled and kissed his forehead.
“Then…do you want to know what my second dream is?”
“Well, if you don’t mind telling me.”
Toshiya smiled and brought his mouth closer to Kaoru’s ear. Then he whispered, “I want to be with you forever…”
Kaoru froze after he heard the words. He felt weird feelings swirling inside his heart and then he couldn’t hold his tears back. He just couldn't believe Toshiya said that. He had waited for a moment like this to come.
Toshiya was panicked to see his lover crying. “Why are you crying, Kao?”
Kaoru buried his face to Toshiya’s shoulder and tightened his hug. “Because I’m happy.” He tried to stop crying but failed miserably. He was ashamed for crying, showing his weak side in front of Toshiya. “Oh, God!”
“Kao…” Toshiya circled his arms around Kaoru’s shoulder and patted his back. “Don’t cry…”
Kaoru chuckled, he quickly wiped his tears away. “I’m sorry, Totchi! Damn, this is so embarrassing!”
“Of course! Big boys aren’t supposed to cry, Kao!” Toshiya said teasingly.
Kaoru laughed in embarrassment. “Don’t tell this to anybody, okay?!”
Toshiya giggled and raised his thumb up. “Okay!”
Kaoru embraced Toshiya tightly and said, “I love you, Totchi.”
“I love you too, Kao…” Toshiya replied then kissed Kaoru on the lips.
