Nano fail
Editing and story-ing has consumed most of my time in the past week or so. BTW, Chris, you are awesome for the book thing. Pretty much the coolest present I got this year. And I'm already marking it up with red. So far:
Chapter 1: Crap.
Chapter 2: More crap.
Chapter 3: That's not red ink on the page, that's my eyes bleeding from reading so much CRAP.
Chapter 4: Ahhh, much better. A back massage of a chapter. I think I got the hang of writing at this point.
But still, life has been filled with stories, more stories, awesome people, pretty clothes, indie tees, expensive yummy dinners and just the right amount of alcohol to make me a happy camper. So far this year has been excellent.
The other day I helped my mom organize her classroom. We ended up finding a cassette tape of me singing Christmas songs, including classics like "Deck the halls with gasoline" and "Joy, to the World, the Devil's Dead (We barbecued his head)", as well a five minute improv song where you can't understand what I'm saying, but I say some stuff about Santa loving nature, and stuff like that. Also that day we found one of my favorite tapes, with songs about Dinosaurs. It had all my favorite hits, like "Tyrannosaurus-Rex", "Saltopus", and "Color me, I'm a dinosaur".
