(no subject)
I know I haven't posted in a while. And this isn't a real post.
I am here to update on what's going on.
I came home on Saturday to a cold, dark house. My house is still without power and is expected to be until this weekend. Isn't that crazy?! It's totally disorienting and I feel totally unable to do anything I might normally do, like go out or get things done. We have a generator and that is how the computer is on for a few minutes, but we try to just use it for the heat, fridge and a few necessary TV sessions. I feel like I'm in survivor mode, building fires, sleeping with the dogs to stay warm... So I'm sorry but I am out of touch, and will continue to be hard to reach. I just feel like I can't do anything, but yet I have to get Christmas decorating and shopping done. So I'm busy and kind of stressed and still feel unproductive.
So I hope to get things together soon whether or not the power comes back. My mom says that this is our challenge, to get on with our lives even though it feels like we can't. So I really hope to see everyone soooooon!!!!! Once I get things together! I love you guys (if your power is on and you can read this)!
