Back From the Cape with a Surprise!
Well I thought I would do a quick little blip of an update. I went to the cape this weekend with Therese for St. Patty's Day. Had a blast at the Irish village and all. I'll have to post the pictures later.
While I was there my mom called me to say that I got mail from RIT. I got their financial package in. All I can say is HOLY COW! Tell me if you think my assessment is justified.
RIT Grant: $11,500
RIT Merit Scholarship: $6,000
Subsidized Student Loan: $2,625
RIT Loan (For Parents): $6,000
Federal Work Study: $2,100
So the work study is not in the package, its an addon, but without it my family has to come up with about $7,000. Without the loan (cuz we have to come up with that too) we have to come up with $13,000. For a $33,000 school, $13k is really really really good. Just thought I'd share that with y'all. I may end up in Rochester, NY in the fall!!
