why does a rose represent love if it always dies?
not everyone thinks a rose represents love. and even if it does, there are fake roses that can last forever. plus, you can buy more than one rose and then every time one dies, you buy a new one. that way, it's like a new beginning because love should always be fresh and new. relationships that don't keep the fun in it die and don't last. if a relationship tries new things and keeps growing, then it IS like a rose because bad things happen, you get rid of them, and then you start over, hence, a new rose. i've had my fair share of lost loves and loves unrequited and sucky break ups, but you should never, ever give up on love. you're missing out on great opportunities and you don't allow people who could potentially care for you to have a chance. to turn away love and "give up" on love is letting the rose die. the real rose is in our hearts. is love going to die every time we get hurt? are we going to stay depressed and get angry, sad, and bitter? or are we going to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and realize some things just aren't meant to be? love happens when you least expect it. but if you give up on it cause "it always dies", you're never going to get it.
