You've got a contract phone at all, so you're doing better than me.
I find I have the reverse problem with a lot of modern mobiles - the buttons are too small for me to press with my little finger, let alone my thumb. And the casings themselves are so small that I find it impossible to text one handed, even if I don't drop the phone while attempting to do so.
luckily i registered my first contract phone at my parents' address so ended up avoiding the whole blacklisting due to previous tenants thing (which is a good thing because i know stu had problems getting a contract at our last address).
i think phones seem to be getting bigger now, probably as they incorporate more and more unnecessary things - so maybe you'll have better luck in future :).
jesus, sounds like a bit of a dramer *hugs* sounds like a bit of a shoddy service on carphones warehouse part :(, glad you managed to get someone who can do something about it..! i hope he calls back too you know. xx

yeah i've run out of ideas on the phone thing now, think the citizens advice bureau might be a plan.
