La, La, and another La
So, um, I might have an actual paid singing thing in June. My section leader at church asked me tonight if I would sing with another group she is in because they need another Alto II. Awesome (and a little unexpected because I still feel like I can't carry my own part as well as I should be able to).
Also the weekend is Gospel Music Sunday, because it is the second weekend of Jazz Fest. You know who looks pretty ridiculous singing rocking Gospel music? A bunch of Presbyterians mostly over the age of 50. We dont move so well -- you know, what with the doctrine being historically based in austerity and all.
