Some surprises are great and yet fail at the same time

College Rantings. Skip if you want to -.-

Got admissions, same college, and same class as nee-san.

Reasons why it works out great:

1. Nationally ranked college which I had little chance of getting into even with a 95 plus percentile. The only reason I got in is because of last minute cancellation.

2. Same college as nee-san. Traveling troubles solved. It will take about 1 hourish to travel both back and forth, but that is still ok because it has decent public transport in the area,

3. Nee-san and I can study together. Works out for both of us.

4. Good placement records, always great for future.

Reasons why it doesn't work out:

1. The specialization is sth different from what I had planned for. Similar, but Business Design has no specific verticals, while I was planning to into either Marketing or HR.

2. SAME CLASS AS NEE-SAN ;-; which is scary. I love nee-san, but she can be scary sometimes! >> Its one thing to have her supervise me at home ;-; she is scary and finicky in supervision mode ;-; it'll be like having a bossy twin in class.

3. Drastic reduction of net time..;-; Yeah I shouldn't crib about it, but I want to ;______; It was supposed to happen a month later! u.u Long hours will be long. Put in public transport time and its as good as spending upto 10 hrs outside. Plus cooking when home

4. Its a tri-sem pattern. 3 sems in 6 months. About 10-11 subjects per sem >___> lord save me. 50% marks are the passing criteria. Fail in two subjects and you flunk the sem, and pay the entire sem fees for repeating @_@ *is scared*

5. Its expensive. More expensive than what I was planning to go for >> $_$ add to the pressure.

6. Only Sunday off ;-; and often not even that for special lectures ><

Idk. I kept having mixed feelings about it >< When looking for a course here, placements rate above everything. I didn't get much choice there, took the admissions and am attending college from tmr. Hope this one works out for the best!
