The Model House | Cycle 2 - Episode 3
Dionne: "Twelve beautiful ladies are standing before me, but I only have eleven names to call. The first name I'm going to call is, second time in a row, Xiomara."
Dionne: "Xiomara, the judges decided you had the best pictures. Congratulations, you're still in the running in hopes of becoming the next Topmodel."
Xiomara: "Thank you so much, Dionne!"
Dionne: "You're welcome. The next name I'm going to call is... Roselle."
Dionne: "Roselle, you've made a huge improvement. You're still in the running in hopes of becoming the next Topmodel."
Roselle: "Wow! I mean, thanks Dionne!
Dionne: "My pleasure. The next girl whose name I'm going to call is... Phyllis."
Dionne: "Phyllis, your beautiful picture impressed the judges. You're still in the running, congratulations."
Phyllis: "Thank you, I appreciate it."
Dionne: "The next names I'm going to call... Mathilda and Pearline."
Dionne: "Mathilda, you were uncertain and shy, but you did a good job. Pearline, I'm also here to announce that you are the challenge winner. You've won The Beautiful Sim make-up set worth of 1000 Simoleons, and you're going to be in the ad of Spring Glosses. Congratulations, you're both in the running in hopes of becoming the next Topmodel."
Mathilda and Pearline "Thanks, Dionne."
Dionne: "The next girl I'm going to call forward is... Hope."
Dionne: "Congratulations Hope, you're still in the running."
Hope: "Thank you, Dionne."
Dionne: "You're welcome. The next girl is Candace."
Dionne: "Candace, you're falling. You should step up next time. You're still in the running."
Candace: "Thanks, I will Dionne."
Dionne: "The next girl is Louise."
Dionne: "Louise, you're not in bottom two this week, but you're still pretty weak. I know you've got it, and I need to see it in your pictures."
Louise: "Thank you for keeping me, Dionne."
Dionne: "The next girl is... Betsey."
Dionne: "The same goes for you, Betsey. You're not the weakest, but you are not getting any better. Take this as a warning, because the next time you may not be this lucky. Congratulations, you're still in the running."
Betsey: "Thanks Dione, I'll get better, I promise."
Dionne: "The next name I'm going to call is.... Valentina."
Dionne: "Valentina, you've fallen dramatically this week, but I believe you will push through. Congratulations, you're still in the running in hopes of becoming the next Topmodel."
Valentiona: "Thank you..."
Dionne: "You're welcome. Will Angelia and Sydney please step forward?"
Dionne: "Two beautiful girls stand before me, but I only have one name to call. The girl whose name I'm not calling must immediately return to the house, pack her belongings, and leave."
Dionne: "Let's start with Angelia. Angelia, when the judges look at you, they see a beautiful model on the outside, but on the inside? They see lack of personality. You can't just rely on being beautiful, because modeling is much more than that. And then we have you Sydney, a truly original beauty, but a model who doesn't really understand the modeling concept. So who goes home and who stays?"
Dionne: "The judges think you've got the spark, Angelia. Congratulations, you're still in the running."
Sydney: "Alright, good luck everyone."
Sydney: "OK, this week my shoot might be weak, but I wasn't expecting that. There were girls who were far more worse than me. Take Valentina, in my opinion, she was the one who should have left this week. But they picked me instead. Fine."
Sydney's Portfolio
On the next day, Pearline got into the limo and went to the studio, where she was met by Christian Cole.
Chris: "Welcome, Pearline. Congratulations, you've won a challenge."
Pearline: "Thank you so much! I'm so happy about it."
Chris: "Now, we'll be shooting an ad for Spring Glosses. I want you to look soft and natural, OK? Fine, let's do your makeover."
Chris: "Chin up, just like that. This is wonderful, Pearline!"
Chris: "It was a great time to work with you. Good job, Pearline!"
Pearline: "Thank you so much!"
In the next morning, there was mail from Dionne.
Louise: "Guys, there's mail from Dionne! OK, let me read it. 'When you look in the mirror tonight, you won't recognize yourselves.' "
Girls: "OMG, MAKEOVERS!!!!"
Roselle: "I'm so excited about the makeovers. I love doing different things with my hair, and whatever they will do, I think I can pull it off. They could even shave my hair, I don't care!"
Xiomara: "There was a mail from Dionne this morning, indicating that we are getting our makeovers today. I'm not super-excited, because I don't think the hairdresser has ever dealt with an alien girl before. I hope I won't look like a freak..."
Louise: "I'm deadly afraid of them cutting my hair really short. I've never had my hair short! I hope they won't."
Angelia: "It's so hard to believe for me, because I thought I did a great job last week. But I narrowly escaped being eliminated. I can only hope that they won't give me a haircut I'll hate. It's already very hard to impress the judges!"
Girls got into the limo and they were brought to the Queen Hair Saloon.
Dionne: "Welcome, young ladies. As you've already guessed, you are here to have your makeovers today! We have it all planned for you, but you won't be knowing what you'll get, until the work is completely finished."
Dionne: "Our host, Alec McQueen, is one of the most famous hair dressers in the industry."
Alec: "Welcome, ladies."
Dionne: "And of course, Ingrid Berg will be glad to use her talents on you."
Dionne: "I wish you a wonderful time and I hope you'll love your makeovers!"
Girls: "Thank you!!!"
Alec: "So, Candace, we're making a new Candace out of you today! Your natural hair is so beautiful, so we're not changing the colour, but we'll give it a beautiful cut, OK?"
Candace: "Alright!"
Ingrid: "Get ready, Hope. Are you nervous?"
Hope: "Umm, I'm super excited..."
Finally, after hours of work, everyone had their new makeovers. Some were happy, and some were not so happy at all.
Angelia
Alec: "Angelia has this beautiful platinum hair, and I didn't want to touch the colour. Her hair was in good shape, and I shortened and straightened it permanently."
Angelia "I don't know if it's a good thing that they didn't touch the length of my hair, because I heard that they give girls with nice bones shorter cuts. Maybe they thought I couldn't handle it. Fine by me, I love this hair, it makes me feel very sexy."
Betsey
Alec: "Betsey's hair is dark blonde and curly, and it was boring. She has got a gorgeous face, straight and ginger hair would be just fine for her."
Betsey: "I'm absolutely in love with my hair. The colour, the shape, everything is perfect. This change was just what I needed.
Candace
Alec: "Candace's natural hair is wild and goes in every direction. I softened her look by straightening the hair and giving it a soft volume."
Candace: "I was expecting a more radical cut, but this hair looks alright. I love the soft look of it. I know I can't look alright with red or blonde, because my skin is too dark, but I could have handled shorter hair."
Hope
Alec: "Hope has a casual look. I dyed her hair chestnut brown, to give her a sophisticated, even sexy hairstyle. Her bangs are also swept aside and I gave her hair a light wave."
Hope: "This cut makes my forehead appear huge! I loved my bangs, why did I have to get rid of them? I love the colour, but I wish I could keep the former cut... I like the waves, though."
Louise
Alec: "Louise has got straight mahogany hair, which doesn't get really well with her skintone. I gave her a wavy hair with the colour golden brown. I think this makeover really made her look three years younger."
Louise: "I feel so much younger and brighter with this makeover. And I'm also so glad that I haven't got my hair chopped! I think I'd bee looking very ugly then."
Mathilda
Alec: "Mathilda has got those huge green eyes. All she needs is to boost up her confidence. She has got straight black hair and bangs now, and she looks like a real supermodel."
Mathilda: "My old hair was so boring, I didn't realize it until I've got this hairstyle. I feel so pretty and confident right now, I absolutely love this hair!"
Pearline
Alec: "Pearline has a face and skin like a porcelain doll. I decided to bring her out of her comfort zone, and give her a wild, rebelish look with a light blonde bob with bangs."
Pearline: "To tell the truth, I feel a little awkward right now. I've never thought of going blonde in my life. But I believe I'll get used to it. I already love the cut."
Phyllis
Alec: "Phyllis has got long honey blonde hair. She is full of self-confidence, that's why I cut her hair very short and straightened it, but kept the colour. Her beautiful facial bones are now visible."
Phyllis: "This hair is very bold. I know that I can handle this look. I already feel more beautiful and confident. My hair looks like a supermodel hair now, it's really cool!"
Roselle
Alec: "Roselle has got vivid orange hair, and a wild style. She deserved an edgy cut with asymmetrical hairstrands. She has got a real supermodel potential with her rock & roll style, so I decided to keep it."
Roselle: "This hair truly reflects my style. It's so wild and crazy! I wouldn't even mind a mohawk, but this hair is perfect for me. I could style it however I want. Brilliant!"
Valentina
Alec: "Valentina has a very strong bone structure, and she looks older than she really is. A hair with soft waves made her look younger and less stern than she appears to be."
Valentina: "I was expecting dramatic changes, but I'm already adapted to my new look. I don't think the makeover can make you look like a topmodel itself, you have to work it out. A lighter brown could be fine, though."
Xiomara
Alec: "Working with Xiomara was different. But she is very much like any other girl, save from the fact that she is an Alien. I gave her a boyish and choppy cut, to make her cute and childish features pop out."
Xiomara: "My new hair is really nice, but I'm afraid I look like a little boy. But I love how it looks from the side. Still, I'm not really attached to it, but I guess I have to give my best to make it work."
Dionne: "Oh my God, just look at you! I can barely recognize who is who! But don't relax now, because you're going to have your photoshoot right away! Now you're getting into the limo and driving to the studio. This week, you are going to be eleven beautiful and modern princesses. You have to give me the princess attitude, soft, dreamy, beautiful, elegant... You name it. You'll be wearing designer gowns and rhinestone tiaras, just to make you feel the atmosphere! Good luck, ladies!"
The girls were really excited about being princesses, and the shooting went really smooth.
Back at home...
Mathilda: "Dionne Mail!!!"
Dionne: "Tommorrow you'll meet with the judges. Only ten of you will continue in hopes of becoming the next Topmodel. Love, Dionne."
The girls were really nervous, because noone could say they were safe.
Louise: "I don't want to go this week. I love my new makeover, I want to stay."
Betsey: "Same goes for me. If I'm near the bottom again, I swear I'll cry..."
Candace: "I've fallen and it's really harsh. Worse is that I have no idea how I did this week."
Dionne: "Good evening, girls. I see real models in front of me tonight! Finally, everyone is dressed in that way. Alright, let's talk about the prizes. The winner will get a 100000 Simoelons contract with The Beautiful Sim, a cover and six page spread in Simple Life magazine, and will be booked for one year by Elite Sim."
Dionne: "Here are your lovely judges, first is Christian Cole, fashion photographer, the best one out there."
Chris: "Good evening, ladies."
Dionne: "...Ingrid Berg, hairstylist and fashionist."
Ingrid: "Hello."
Dionne: "...Zoe Lilies, winner of Cycle 1."
Zoe: "Hi, girls!"
Dionne: "...and finally, Alec McQueen, famous hairstylist, who did your makeovers. Wonderful job, Alec!"
Alec: "Thank you."
Dionne: "Let's begin with your individual evaluations. First girl is Angelia. Angelia, here is your best shot:"
Dionne: "You are carrying your outfit just like a model. It's nice. But I don't understand what you're doing there."
Chris: "Looks like she is fanning herself. You look like a model from the outside, gorgeous face, gorgeous body, but that expression on your face? It has nothing to do with high fashion."
Dionne: "We don't intend to be harsh Angelia, but you have to step it up. You were already in the bottom two. Alright, thanks Angelia. The next girl is Betsey. Betsey, here is your best shot:"
Dionne: "Betsey, althought you look stiff, it's the first time I saw you fully in control of your body, and that you knew what to do. It's a topmodel quality pose."
Ingrid: "Looks like that hair was just right for you. Your look completely changed, and you look like a real supermodel to me!"
Zoe: "That gown looks beautiful on her."
Dionne: "Good job, Betsey. The next girl is Candace. Here is your best shot, Candace:"
Dionne: "Looks like you're expressing feelings for your special someone. But it looks like bad acting to me. Of course there is acting involved in fashion, but don't over-exaggerate it."
Chris: "When I look at this picture, I see fake and cheesy. You are naturally beautiful, we told you at the start. Why do you keep falling?"
Dionne: "Be careful, because the judges can think that you don't have what it takes. Thank you, Candace. The next one is you, Hope, and here is your best shot:"
Dionne: "Your face looks natural, and intense. I love it. I love your eyes and contact with the camera. But I don't understand the hand on your chest. You see, it could be a very emotional pose if you weren't that stiff."
Ingrid: "The face doesn't connect with the body. When I look at that close-up, I think 'What a lovely picture.' and when I look at your whole body, I don't get any feeling from your pose."
Dionne: "Thank you, Hope. The next one is Louise. Here is your best shot, Louise:"
Dionne: "Louise, your makeover just changed you completely. You have a beautiful face, and you were hiding it. It's a crime. Alright, your body looks beautiful, because of your back. You look really elegant. And I love your eyes. They are piercing."
Chris: "This is seriously the best shot I've seen of you. And the best of the bunch thus far. You look like a real princess to me, it's very convincing."
Zoe: "I think that lilac goes wonderful with your skin and your new hair colour."
Dionne: "Thank you, Louise. The next one is Mathilda. Alright Mathilda, here is your best shot:"
Dionne: "It's hard to believe how much you look like a supermodel with your new makeover. Anyway, your film was gorgeous. Look at your face, it's cute, sexy, and mysterious. We don't really like upper-corner-looking models, because it's an old trick, but you made it work."
Ingrid: "Don't you just wonder where she is looking at? That saved the picture. I really like it."
Dionne: "Thank you, Mathilda. The next girl is Pearline."
Dionne: "You look more like a envying princess here, Pearline. Maybe one of Cinderella's evil sisters. But it's not bad. It's different and it's standing out. Your eyes are a little empty, but other than that, it's nice."
Chris: "I've got something to say about the body. Don't stick your booty out that much. Fashion is not about showing off your curves."
Dionne: "Thank you, Pearline, and good job with your ad, too. The next girl is Phyllis. Here is your best shot:"
Dionne: "You look very elegant, Phyllis, and I love that mysterious sideways glare and your little smile. Your pose is simple but not stiff. It's good that you pulled your back in. "
Ingrid: "You look like your plotting something, but you are charming, no doubt. One could easily fall in your hands. I think your pose and your face told a story here."
Dionne: "Thank you, Phyllis. Next we have Roselle, and here is her best shot:"
Dionne: "Roselle, when I look at your first pose, I see nothing that catches my eye. You just look like you're just standing there doing nothing. But then I see the close-up, and I'm blown away by the profile. You have such great cheeks and lips, and your eyes look so much alive and fiery."
Chris: "You just don't know what to do with your body. Your strong face saved you this time, but you can't just stand there and do nothing."
Dionne: "Thank you, Roselle. The next one is Valentina. Here is your best shot, Valentina:"
Dionne: "Valentina, your body looks like it's about to collapse here. But that expression on your face is just beautiful. I have no words for it. Your eyes look so thoughtful, and that in a romantic way. I love the shoulder look."
Chris: "You have to stop over analyzing yourself. Don't think about your pose too much, just do it! Or else, it ends up unnatural like this."
Dionne: "Alright, thank you Valentina. Last one is Xiomara. Xiomara, here is your best shot:"
Dionne: "We have a dancing princess here! Seriously, you look very happy and excited about something, but it's not high fashion. You never contact with the camera, and you know that eye contact is very important."
Ingrid: "I like the way you're holding the skirt. I'm not in love with the princess attitude, but altogether, it looks fine."
Dionne: "Thank you, Xiomara."
Dionne: "Alright, now it's time for us judges to deliberate. And when I call you back, one of you will be eliminated."
