The Model House - Week 7

Apr 06, 2008 01:22

Dionne: "Hi girls, be ready to meet the judges in ten minutes."

Dionne: "Four girls are standing in front of me. You were all incredible last week, but unfortunately that doesn't save you from the eliminations. I only have three names in front of me. The first name I'm going to call is... Zoe."

Dionne: "Zoe, you've made a big process in the last weeks. The judges loved your picture. Congratulations, you're still in the running."
Zoe: "I can't believe it, thank you so much Dionne!"

Dionne: "The next name I'm going to call is Jo. Jo, you did a good job and expressed yourself well. We really liked your picture. You're safe, congratulations."
Jo: "Thank you!.."
Dionne: "Will Ruby and Penelope please step forward? You both are in the bottom two today, not because you were bad, it's because you made less progress. Ruby, what happened? You were in the lead for four times in a row, and now you're in the bottom two. Your picture was sure pretty, but unoriginal. Penelope, you should have showed more emotion and your posture was not interesting enough. Who should leave?"

Dionne: "...Penelope. Ruby, the judges thought your downfall won't be persistent, and you have more potential to become a topmodel. But you have to pull yourself together."

Penelope: "It makes me really sad to leave at this point. I really thought I had it in me. It's going to be a huge stress for the last three, maybe I should be thankful I'm not eliminated on the last round."

Penelope's Past:

Dionne: "You're only three now, which means the tension is getting higher. This week, our theme is marriage and motherhood. You're going to pose for Simbride magazine, for their special June issue about "motherhood". Of course you'll get a chance of wearing designer bridal gowns, and the best girl's poses are going to be published."

Dionne: "For this week's theme, we have adorable little guests. Jason, Lee and Kim are going to be your partners. As a reminder: there will be no elimination for this week. Instead, the points you get will be added to your final points, so it's still crucial that you pull up a good job. I wish you a good time and best luck!"

Girls hastily went over to the makeover rooms.

Dionne: "The shooting is over, and we have just received the films. Here we have our lovely judges, Chris Cole, the fashion photographer, and Ingrid Berg, the makeover artist and fashionist. And finally, me. Let the judging begin. The first pictures we have are the bridal pictures."

Jo

Dionne: "You're a stunning. Your face is so pretty, but I'm not sure about the emotion. This picture is a little dull for me. I see that you wanted to show the front of the dress, but you have not truly grasped the concept. When I look at you I see a beautiful girl in a bridal gown, not a real 'bride'."

Chris: "The closeup is nicer. There is more emotion on your face, but not exactly what we're looking for. By the way, that hair looks so nice on you."

Ruby

Dionne: "It's a very romantic pose from you. I love the position of your hands. Your eyes look soft and dreamy. Altogether, I like this picture pretty much."

Dione: "For the closeup, I'm not sure about the position of your hands. From this angle, your right hand looks completely blocked. Your clevage looks appealing. But there is lack of contact with the viewer."
Chris: "I don't know where you're looking at. You seem unfocused. One good thing: your medieval hair looks so great on you. I would publish this picture for that hair."

Zoe

Dionne: "I love the emotion in this one. Your hand on your chest makes you look innocent and pure. It's quite suitting considering that you're the bride."

Dionne: "The closeup is even better. We can see the front part of the dress. Your eyes are a little disconnected, but altogether, it's really nice."
Chris: "Your natural haircolor looks so wonderful on this scenery, with all the gold accents. I would love to publish this picture."

Dionne: "The next set of pictures is about maternity."

Jo

Dionne: "You have such a young and refreshing look here. You give me high-fashion and cute at the same time. Really worked the stripes, as I see."

Dionne: "I love your face on the closeup. I love it. Your lips look so natural."
Ingrid: "When I look at this picture, I see a topmodel in you. Good job."

Ruby

Dionne: "I like your face on this picture, but it doesn't really connect with the rest of the body. You look too casual. Waist-up it's nice, but I don't like the position of the legs."

Dionne: "The closeup is better, because it's waist-up. Your facial expression looks very soft, even shy. I like to see that on you. But I'm convinced that softer colours look better on your lips."
Chris: "That belly looks so real on her! I couldn't tell as a reader if you were really pregnant or not!"

Zoe

Dionne: "There is such a self-confidence in this picture, I can't tell how much I like it. I really like the pose and your face. There are some people who can adapt to every single look, and I think you're one of them."

Chris: "Your eyes look very intense here. I can see you've started to learn how to use your eyes. I agree with Dionne about your pose. You look younger and also rebelish."

Dionne: "And here is the last set: motherhood."

Jo

Dionne: "Aww. You look like his real mother on this picture, which is great. But you're blocking your own body with his body, try to avoid it. Great picture otherwise."

Dionne: "You have a great profile. But we can't see the eyes. And your arm is getting across the picture, blocking your body and the product. But I can't say I don't like it. It's so natural and works the concept."

Ruby

Dionne: "I can see real fun in your eyes, it's not fake. I like it, and your big smile. Unfortunately, the layout of the picture is not that great. We're looking down on your body, and great part of it is covered."

Dionne: "On this picture you look beautiful together, like real mother and son. I love the way you look at him. You haven't blocked your body this time. But your face is very much hidden. Turn more to the camera next time."

Zoe

Dionne: "That hairstyle really aged you in a moment! You look like a real mom now. Your bodies look great on this picture. Your eyes are turned away from the camera and almost closed, let the viewer see them."

Dionne: "Looks like there is a strong bond between you and Kim. I like the emotion in this picture. The way you look at each other is really deep and like mother-daughter."

Don't forget to leave a comment with your favourite and least favourite models, and help me with the elimination.
Actually there was going to be an elimination next week, making it down to two models, I had already prepared the final pictures for three and was ready to discard the one who was going to be eliminated, but I grew fond of all of the pictures I took and then thought "the more, the merrier" =D So this weeks points are going to be added up to the final points. Thanks for reading!
