The selfish rants of a selfish teenager
"Where were you? Mom's been waiting for you for dinner"
"I've been home for more than half an hour, sister dearest, were you too engrossed in your TV screen to notice?"
I forgot that in my mother's language, waiting for me for dinner, does not mean cooking dinner, but waiting for me to do the cooking. Ok, no prob, I'll make one of my special \o/
But she also decided that what I cooked smelled bad and ate her own soup as far from me as she could, speaking from time to time to complain about the look of my food and saying that she refused to eat it, three times. What's the point of a nice dinner in family again ?
