Title: Hug Me Until You Drug Me, Honey
Pairing: any, even SJ/reader. It’s pretty vague. (I wrote it as Eunhae or Hyukjae/me)
Rating: PG
Length: Drabble (227w)
Summary: A winter’s night spent together.
A/N: Inspired by Meg & Dia’s Hug Me
The crisp December wind may be biting at our faces. But it doesn’t matter. It’s well past midnight, and probably past two. But it doesn’t matter. No one knows where we are, and neither do we. But it doesn’t matter because your arms are wrapped around my waist pulling me impossibly closer and mine embrace your slender neck as I lace my fingers through whatever hair isn’t covered by your dark beanie. Heavy breaths turn into frost in midair as we pull away from a sweet kiss. Your scent lingers around me and I take it in. I take it in like a drug, afraid I’ll never have it again.
We walk onto the bridge hand in hand and pause under a street light to watch the cars race below and maybe wonder where they’re heading. “Hug me,” I whisper. And you do. One hand meets mine inside my coat pocket and grasps it tightly. The other lingers at my chest and draws a heart. It may be through three layers of clothing but I understand. Never have I felt safer than when your fingers intertwined with mine under the fabric as we seemingly brought our attention back to the traffic below once again. But I knew your mind was racing with thoughts of me. And that’s okay, because there’s nothing I’d rather think about than you.
