Our last day in California was spent at Disneyland. Mum, Dad, the wife, and I headed out early to pick up my brother, then the 5 of us headed to the park.
Now I love amusement parks to begin with, so my 6 year old was bouncing with excitement as we headed through the turnstile and onto main street.
First stop was Pirates of the Caribbean, since when I went to Disneyworld when I was 11 the ride was closed. I was so disappointed that we missed it then... so that had to be the first stop. There was barely any line... it was great.
Then we continued our whirlwind tour of the park... trying our best to hit all the biggies. We were lucky and didn't hit many lines that were much longer than a half hour.
The Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain, The Matterhorn Bobsleds, Its a Small World (mum's idea... eek), Space Mountain, Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear's AstroBlaster, Honey i Shrunk the Audience, the parade, Indiana Jones...
We also took plenty of time to browse the gift shops... and I bought myself a very cute Tinkerbell sweatshirt.
We were going to try and stay for the fireworks, but by 8:30 or so we were all ready to crash... we brought my brother back to his apartment, ended the night with some sparkling wine and headed back to the hotel.
Vacation was great, but I am very much looking forward to coming home tomorrow.
