I spent most of Saturday studying, going over practice questions, and rereading materials on some of my weaker areas. Mich and I had a lovely dinner at Pintu’s, then I headed to get Ashke for Rocky. Rocky is always fun, but by the end of the show I was exhausted. I almost fell asleep standing in Ashke’s arms, waiting for him to be dismissed so we could come back to the apartment and crash. We got back to the apartment and fell asleep almost instantly.
We had a nice lazy Sunday morning, taking our time to wake up. Soon we were dropping ashke home and Mich and I headed out for lunch. Back home, I tried to do some final prep. Then Mich and I headed out shopping so I could get some supplies. I am now armed with two different kinds of number two pencils, two different kinds of pens, erasers, earplugs, cough drops, Kleenex, Advil, Excedrin, powerbars, almonds, a stopwatch, and plastic bags. We are only allowed to bring stuff into the exam in clear plastic food bags. paranoid.
We came home and watched a movie. At about 7, I needed to get out of the house. Mich and I decided to take a drive for some ice cream. There was a place out in Granville I used to go to when I worked at a girl scout camp in Tolland. Its called Scoop, it is also a farm and they make their own ice cream. Its neat, you actually see the cows :) They also have a little petting zoo. It is very cute. I tought it would be a pretty drive, so I figured how to get there and we took off. I was surprised by just how close it was. On the way there we drove right past Granville Gorge, which was where ashke took us on our first official “date.” I had no idea we would pass it. So we stopped for a minute and I waded around in the water. What a nice surprise, it made me smile. We continued on for ice cream. After ice cream, I was able to feed the goats and sheep out of my hand. Yay.
Tomorrow I will be spending the night at home with my parents before I take the RI bar on Tuesday. I’m nervous, but as ready as I am going to be.
Time for bed.
