I am on autopilot. I just got home from our favorite bar after some much needed stress relief. I settled down on the couch, put the computer on my lap, and promptly opened up my MicroMash bar review software. Whoa… wait a minute, I am way, way to tipsy to try and study ;) How sad, I am so conditioned that the second I turn on the computer, I start to study. Yuck. Almost done… almost done.
What a long day. I got up pretty early, a little before eight, and started on some practice MBE questions before I got out of bed. I had had a pretty good night on Thursday, despite my stress, I gave up on study questions around 8:30 or so and headed over to ashke’s and sylvari’s to get out of the house and stop worrying, we watched a nifty documentary on the race to space. Mich came home from beer night earlier than usual, so I got a nice snuggle before I fell asleep. Around 9am, I was hungry and craving Gus and Paul’s, so Mich and I walked over to Tower Square. After some yummy potato pancakes and coffee, and the wonderful distraction of arcade dance dance revolution, I was back home on the couch with MBE practice questions. That is where I stayed until about 7:30 tonight.
Mich and I had considered heading down to the Southern Connecticut Ren Faire, but the threat of thunderstorms and hail kept us home. *pout* I would have risked it, but Mich is much more practical than I. So Mich searched the internet for something for us to do, to get me out of the house away from the bar exam. O’Driscoll’s pub in Wilbraham was going to have live music tonight, so we decided to go out to dinner. We got there and discovered they had no power, so were not serving food. We decided to kill some time at the Eastfield Mall, and check back in an hour or so. I found a really cute black dress on clearance at hot topic, that I will wear to haven sometime in the near future. I am always amused when we go to that mall and see the signs for the teen curfew, since I contributed to it. The law firm I used to work for represented the mall, and I once wrote a memo to the mall about whether or not that curfew was constitutional. It was.
We headed back to O’Driscoll’s and unfortunately even though the power was back, all the cooks had gone home. So no dinner. There was no way I could have a drink without some real food, combos and chex mix do not a dinner make, so we left. Instead we headed back to our apartment and walked over to Samuel’s. Our favorite waitress was there, even though she doesn’t normally work on Fridays (lucky us, she is so cute). I ordered a tall BBC lost sailor. Yum. Lucky me, the bartender accidentally poured two, so I got way more than I had intended, but it was so good. After beer and cheeseburgers, we headed back to the apartment.
Time to snuggle up with the wife and get some rest before another day of cramming… almost done, almost done.
