Why would I want to go out shopping in the middle of the night or even early the next morning after Thanksgiving? You couldn't pay me to fight for a parking spot, then battle a crowded store with lunatic shoppers! If I need to buy something, I can wait and even pay a little more in a few days or even online.

OMFG, I go out of my way to not go near any stores on these days. Actually I try not to go to many until Christmas is over. I saw that most of that stuff was available online anyway.

No shopping today for me either. I have a severe crowd phobia. I have worked Black Friday before- but it was 10 years ago, when Target opened at 5AM at the earliest.

My Thanksgiving was great :)

Not to mention Goims, you know? Goims? They make you cough and stuff!

Had a very quiet and peaceful Thanksgiving, and was able to communicate with friends for whom it had been a long while.

I'm not going anywhere today until after the mailman runs, which will probably be close to noon. Even then, I don't think there'll be a hoard of people at the only three places I'm going... Big Lots, PetsMart, and Lowe's.

Just hopefully there won't be a run on "Fancy Feast" at PetsMart or outdoor TV antenna mast extensions at Lowe's!
