almost the last day...
today was the 2nd to last day before break...meaning I am officially on christmas break at 3:00 tomorrow.
But that is besides the point for now...
It was a funny day. Everyone around school is just crazy and I suppose it is likely tomorrow will be even more crazy...
Today I had a major "slip of the tongue." In my class of all males today, I was telling one of my students to put his cell phone away...
and instead of saying "keep it in your pocket," I accidentally yelled across the room "keep it in your pants!!!!"
so everyone in the room lost it, myself included! and literally, the instructional aid (who is probably in her 60's) actually fell on the floor because she was laughing so hard!!! It was nuts.
And they were like, "oh Ms. Lee, you are never gonna live that one down!"
Mind you, this is also the class where I asked them not to spray their man juice.
SERIOUSLY: WHY DO I TALK?!?!?!?!?
I also got a gift certificate to honey-baked ham for christmas and since I knew I would never use it, I gave it to my instructional aid (the one who fell on the floor) and she started crying when I gave it her! It made me feel so giving and kind and grateful because she is really so very awesome.
AND last but not LEAST, I am coming home tomorrow until January 2nd! Can you believe it? Pinch me because it must be a dream! SERIOUSLY!!!! UUUUUUgggggghhhhhh! I - can't - wait!
