[With that experiment over, life is finally back to what passes for normal here. Which means, it's time to focus on the upcoming holidays.]

So since we have electricity this year, anybody planning to put up Christmas lights?

Really? I should look more often, then. It'll be a little strange to celebrate Christmas so far from home, but some decorations could make it fun.
