spectaculah, spectaculah

Finally I had my chance to visit Macau. To describe the whole experience, it was loaded with spectaculah spectaculah!

Rode the New World First Ferry from HK to Macau. The ferry ride was smooth, i'm expecting it to be a little bumpy but thank God it wasn't. I'm actually afraid on riding boats/ferries. O__O It rained a little but the rain stopped when we reached Macau. =) We rode the free shuttle from the ferry terminal and checked-in at Sofitel Hotel.

Ponte 16, Resort Macau, Sofitel Hotel

Hotel Lobby that is filled with Pinoy Staffs. =)

I have to say that I love our hotel to bits! The nice lady at the check-in counter knew that we have a child with us so she placed our rooms in a higher floor so that the casino in our hotel wouldn't bother us and even upgraded our rooms with a nice view of the sea & the whole Macau. Pretty!

View from our hotel room.

Gigantic beds and fluffy pillows. The only hassle thing is that there are no connecting rooms available that time so we kept on hopping from one room to another.

Huge bathroom that we really love ♥♥♥ with L'Occitane toiletries ♥ and the tub has its own flat-screen tv! =P

Good light + Mirrors. =P

Lunch at this nice macanese and portuguese restaurant located at the road just beside the Senado Square.

Grilled Beef in Sweet Sauce. It was really delicious! =) The roasted potatoes that are served as a side dish are yummy!

This is my favorite Baked Chicken with Cheese and Tomato Filling

Largo de Senado. Many have said that you shouldn't go to Macau and tour at weekends because the sites will be filled with people... and guess what we still came on Sunday! =P Lots of tourists but it's tolerable naman. Hehe

Mia at Senado Square. Side Note: This where Ji Hoo sang the acoustic version of Because I'm Stupid to the locals & Jan Di and earned his first hard-earned money. =P

We bought our Tapas & Egg Tarts here and the lines were crazy. T___T

No explanation needed.

Ruins of St. Paul

We couldn't resist our still warm and freshly baked egg tarts so we sat at the foot of the ruins and ate our egg tarts!

Macau has many out-of-this-world infrastructures.

Our next stop: The Venetian Hotel

Inside was all glamorous and spectacular. You can really feel that you're in Renaissance Venice.

They have this indoor canals and you can hear the gondoliers singing 'Con Te Partiro', very nice.

The sky looks real.

And who could forget the very angsty scenes of Jun Pyo & Jan Di here?!

One funny thing happened to us, so we entered this souvenir shop and it was my sister who saw this:

We're thinking to buy it but it's really expensive for just a photo frame! T______T

We picked this together with Hyun Joong's picture but at the counter the lady was giggling and told us that the picture was just for display. Since we're already at the counter we just decided to buy it anyway! T___T Naisahan kami! My brother told us that we should just have the picture printed from the internet! Hehehe

Just a peek of their huge casino. There were places and spots in the hotel that are prohibited for children because of the casino so there were times that we needed to go back or find another way. It was really tiring, imagine how big the hotel is.

We were already so dead tired from walking this time but everything here is so pretty.

Gigantic paintings at the ceiling.

We went back to our hotel and what a good way to pamper our tired body with a nice hot dip here while watching Jay's MVs. ^^

Before checking out at our hotel, we have to take this family picture no. 8342625336... We also wanted to take home that huge painting! Hahaha

And so we say Zai Jian to Macau and back to our comfy home, Hong Kong, for some last minute shopping at Mongkok & H&M galore! =)
