It was actually alot better than I thought it would be. I had to go into the schools in the morning from 9 til 11... then I worked at the Gap from 1 til 5, and then I had class at 6 til 9. So yes, it was a very hectic day, but it was also very good. :)
I got to class and after about 1 1/2 hours, we took a break. When we came back in, Mrs. Raffety was like "Today is very strange for me. I have had two things happen, which have never happened before... let alone in the same day. One, was getting locked out of our classroom (we had to move class to a meeting room nearby). The other has happened around the day of class, but never on the exact day of this class. It's Courtney's birthday!" I was like what the fuck? How did she know that?? So I expected to maybe get some happy-birthday comments, but then she brings out a friggin cake. Haha. It was great. It was such a nice gesture, most teachers would not have done that... it just goes to show how amazing that woman is.
Then, me and Court went out to Ledbetter's after class. I got freaking shitfaced. It was bad. I didn't want to get drunk, but everyone kept buying me shots. When I woke up to go to class the next morning, I was still drunk. I did everything I could to get through class, it was awful.
Then of course, my mom, grams and little sister came down. We went shopping... fun, as always. The car ride to Meadowbrook wasn't fun considering I wanted to puke, but nonetheless, I got a bunch of clothes.
Justin bought me a radar detector and a CD burner, both of which were things I asked for. I knew he didn't have time to go to vegas to shop, so I made sure to tell him stuff he could get online. Then I got a package from him on Friday. It had a card, a booklet with his article that Wesleyan did on him, and a CD he made with all of the pictures from my trip out there, plus a cute Happy Birthday video. :) I think it was the best birthday gift ever. It didn't cost anything, but it meant so much. I loved it. I wonder sometimes how I got so lucky. 0:)
Other things in my life... Harvey escaped from his ball once, then he got out of his cage somehow. The little shithead. Missy should be coming down to visit in a couple of weeks. We have so much to discuss and shop for! I'm really excited. Justin might be coming home for Christmas!! AHHH... its so exciting. Nothing is for sure yet, but I can't help but be ecstatic about it.
Well, I still got lots of stuff I could be doing before work... booooo for homework.
