Swing time
OK, after last weeks little feet-dragging problem, things are starting to fall into better order. I'm busy and I feel I can handle it, hopefully there won't be anymore need for sleep aids or avoidant behavior.
The knitting is coming along really well. I've turned the heel and completed the gusset for feathers & fans sock two, still on the needles are BLING's red and black stripy sock (two) and the Birch lace shawl which I'm going to donate to the MLT senior auction (no, we aren't selling seniors - we are raising money for them). I know how much love and time is going into Birch, I hope she gets a price that reflects the commitment and artistry that is going into her. I ordered more sock yarn today - it's the summer of socks. Next up is a dark rainbow variegated ankle sock with picot edging (more socks for BLING) and the new yarn is a try-out for a low priced internet yarn peddler, probably also for BLING.
Damn, that girl better do right by her sock making mama.
