it became apparent to me that god has strictly put me on this earth to be everyones stepping stone or welcome mat...yes i sound like a martyr but i damn well have earned this oppurtunity to vent...on monday my professor, who ironically i'm not sitting in his class, asked me into his office...i went and i was verbally slapped in the face...out of his mouth; "you are just a number to me, why didn't you follow up with me, its not my job to contact you, your paper was excently written but your story idea was crap, i never approved it" now this would be fine and dandy except for the fact that i did make an effort to follow him up with my story idea...
two weeks ago we gave our original idea for our news feature, over half of the classes ideas got shot down, so he asked us to re-submit them via e-mail...that night i did just that...i also included in the e-mail my contact information and wrote a note on the top of the e-mail saying; if you have any questions or concerns or if it is not okay please contact me...i thought that was follow up enough...so when i didn't hear anything from him i thought it was the go-ahead for the story...so i did the story, to which i thought was a very good story...and handed it in...
apprently i didn't follow up enough and since i am just a number to him, he didn't bother on e-mailing me back to say NO this idea sucks, i don't like it...this might sound like me bitching, which it is, i don't disclaim that, but what the fuck does his opinion matter anyway...i mean fuck, his story ideas suck as far as my opinon goes...i thought my idea kicked ass...i did it on the beer distributors being open on sunday's now and i had a lot of useful resources which included a high up person in the pennsylvania government...but none of that matters...i mean it matters to alcoholics, but harry didn't like that response too much when he asked me why the hell anyone would care about this...what an ass...but i wasn't the only one he gave a zero to and is basically making them fail the class...he did it to my friend karen...what an ass...gotta go class is starting
