update on school, work, and whatever else comes to mind while writing this
It's been over a month since I've written in here! Wow! That's amazing for me...considering the fact that I used to write in here like everyday! Honestly, I just haven't had anything that I wanted to say/write in here. I mean some interesting stuff has happened, but nothing I felt like sharing with anyone. Also, I really haven't had anything to write about. My life is boring I'm afraid! Haha! But, finally...after a month...I do have something to say! And of course...it's going to be a rant! :-)
Classes started two weeks ago, and I have to admit that I was actually looking forward to them. Now...that I've been in my classes for two weeks...I can't wait for Christmas Break to get here! BTW...when is that again??? The classes are going...eh...well...very slowly! But, yet these past two weeks have flew by. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to last saturday (August 26th)! It seems like all my time is going towards classes, and of course homework for those classes! *blah* I'm so freaking busy, and hardly have any free time! And, I'm honestly not used to that. I'm used to always have some free time, but now I seriously have none. Unless I choose to not to do a certain homework assignment. But, then I'd just be a dumb ass! Like right now, I should be working on a paper, but don't feel like it at the moment so I'm updating in here instead. So...NO free time! Ahhhhhhh! School is already stressing me out!!! I'm ready to scream!!! *Might be a good idea to cover your ears*
English class is just boring! It's not the class itself that's boring, it's the freaking teacher! OMG!!! Tuesday I was falling asleep in the class, and I wasn't the only person! The whole class was, and that's just really bad! The guy is very monotone which makes the class really dull. Also, he can't get his point across. And, then there is the fact that he stumbles for words and says "um" all the time! No joke either! And, that really gets on my nerves!!! Besides the boring teacher, I like the class! I have to write my first paper this week. Yay!!! Still not sure what I'm going to write it on though...however I'm sure a good topic will come to me soon! We can only hope!
Children Development(Psychology)is fun! Except for the fact that the teacher likes to talk a lot! But, she is an awesome teacher and very crazy! So class is quite interesting! Although, sadly I have to say that Jason was right, and class is boring because most of the information she is teaching us I already know!! But I really can't complain about the class because I do like it! I'm just praying that we will cover some new material SOON!!!
Criminal Justice is fun and very interesting! And the only class that I'm NOT bored in, or pissed off with! Yay! I'm actually learning a lot about the Criminal Justice System that I did not know, and now I'm even more fascinated with the field. Which is making my decision to become a Child Psychologist or Forensic Psychologist harder now! *blah* I'll eventually figure that one out though! The question is...when?!?!?! But, the teacher I love! He's hilarious, and has a lot of funny stories to tell which makes class fun! So, there's another class I can't complain about! Yay!
And lastly, math class! Well...that's a whole different story, and I could devote a whole page to just that class about how much I hate it, and how much it pisses me off! I swear, that class will be the death of me!!! Where to begin...well instead of having an actual teacher, we have a GA! And, she's a good person, but not a good teacher! She doesn't even teach us which is the point of the class! Makes sense...right?!?!?! She basically tells us to read a chapter then do the self test at the end of the chapter, and the next class period goes over some important terms that we should know. And with the term, we get an example of how to solve the problem, but she goes through the notes so fast that it's hard to keep up and understand how to do it. Grrrrr! I'm sorry, but math class is not a class where you say "read this, and I'll answer questions next class period". You don't learn math that way! WTF??? I seriously think I'm going to fail this class! *sighs*
Other then those little problems, my classes are going ok I guess. I have to say though that there is a lot of reading in all of my classes. Not to mention, a lot of note taking, and lectures! *blah* But, then again that's school for you!!!
In other news, work is going pretty well actually! The past month, I've been getting a lot more hours! This week I only worked 4 hours, but that's ok since I have been getting at least 12 hours or more. And I guess with school I really don't need a lot of hours since a lot of my time will be devoted to studying and lots of homework. But, I still need to work at least 12 hours because I have to buy gas for my car to get to school and work. But yea...work's good! Frustrating at times yes...but I'll get over it!
Um...I guess that's it! Oh wait...I lied! I found out like a week before school started that Lisa is having a girl! Yay! I get a niece!!! I'm so excited about that! :-) And recently, Lisa has decided on a name for her baby! Her name will be Lydia Gail! Lisa wanted a name that WASN'T common or popular, and really likes Lydia. So that's her name! I think it's adorable though! I went shopping the other day, and bought Lydia the cutest little outfits. I love baby shopping! LoL! :-)
FYI...today was the big Marshall vs. WVU game! WVU won 42 to 10! Marshall lost!!! :'( Granted, I'm not a big football fan, nor did I watch the game, but I have to say that I am a little disappointed that they lost because honestly I hate WVU *even though I'm kind of from Morgantown*, and I really wanted Marshall to win! Damn it!!!
But yea...that's all for now! Think I'm going to go and try to work on my English paper!!! Byes!
