My Creative Writing class is so fun. I sat next to Dina, a girl that's fixing to graduate and is also majoring in interior design. Our assignment for the night was to write a poem about the person next to us (preferably a person we hardly know). We had to ask each other questions and write a poem of couplets based on the mini interview. I thought mine was quite random so I thought I might share this for anyone that cares to read:
"Dina"
She's the coolest stepmom
Her burps altogether is like a nuclear bomb
Her day runs on a tight schedule
Never too busy, never too dull
Her personality shimmers like a bright, shiny star
Standing out like a sore thumb, she drives a yellow car
She'll cut you off, if you're too slow
She'll give you the finger, just so you know
Her name is Dina and she is full of road rage
Watch out, or she'll burp on you, no matter your age
