summer thus far..
has been great! i've had a blast. this past weekend i went to nashville and WV with my roommate. we went to jenny's wedding and got to see kristin and suzi and baby gabriella which was very exciting. we explored the dub-vee and downtown charleston. oakwood rd proved a tad of a disappointment but slightly redeemed itself when we dined at tgifridays. man that was some good chicken and cheese. anyways, we had an awesome roadtrip! on the way back we stopped in eastern kentucky at carters cave state park resort. we had lunch there and went on one of the trails. we should have packed tennis shoes. but it wasnt so bad. we are beginning to plan another road trip... dont know where to yet, but itll be fun, no doubt. i want to go to six flags. any takers? becky's moving this weekend. and im going to the lake. hopefully i'll see becky saturday though. lu and some of her friends are going to eat and see a drive in movie in boaz so thatll be fun. ill get to spend some time with her. im going bathing suit shopping tomorrow. that tends to not go over so well. oh! and i have water day at work tomorrow. i forgot all about that. which means i gotta pack some stuff up. i wanna go horseback riding. ive had the hankerin to do so and havent gotten the chance yet. so hopefully ill get to. not excited about mexico. not yet anyways. maybe ill be better when i get down there. i miss berea. sad but true. my room... my roommate... alumni field... cross country trails... my house and house mates... my ra... sigh. oh well. time moves on and i suppose i have to roll with the punches. it was fun while it lasted. at least so far im having the awesome summer i wanted. work is great and im getting to do fun things. although i still want to go dancing! contra anyone? need to get something scheduled there. anyways. im out.
