so... today is easter. happy easter!!! may the blessings which the resurrection brings be upon you all. sadly, ive gotten used to being away from home on easter, longing for grandma's easter lunch. in vain. but today.. today we cooked a HUGE lunch. sooo much food left over, it was unbelievable. me kristin rhi joe and suzie with baby gabriella had a good time eating. menu: green beans, corn, creamed corn, brown sugar honey ham, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, caesar salad, egg devils (with and without relish..i choose without), fruit cocktail and two desserts.. 2 layered chocolate cake with strawberries on top and little chocolate angel food cakes with cream cheese fruit dip, bananas, strawberries, and whipped cream on top. diviiiine. even the sweet tea was awesome. i still missed my family and the great company they provide, but today made me very content with where i was at. daddy glenn called first. uncle greg, my most favoritest uncle, followed suit. then mom later on and i just got off the phone with dad a few minutes ago. left a message for becky. happy easter becky!! cant WAIT to go home for summer. its gonna be grand. im excited about work (im hoping to be at AQ again) and being with friends and family and babysitting and having time to read what i want to read and playing tennis and hearing the new preacher. i can spend the night with grandma whenever i want and go fishing with..well, ill find somebody. big hopes and expectations for this summer. a great 3 months before another great 3 months in México. beautiful weather here. although i think its messing up my throat. man, this is long. you know what it is? its me not wanting to do my español homework. he wants us to ride a stanza of a sonnet. in spanish. after he ranted and raved about how hard it was. if im gonna have a hard time in english, what makes you think ill be able to hack it in spanish? oh well. and then i get to read don juan manuel...again. it seems that el conde lucanor is a story that makes an appearance in most 300 level classes. at least itll be familiar territory. i guess i should stop procrastinating. later taters.
