question meme

This seems like a good thing to start a new journal with, and I haven't done this one in a while.

From darth_minousI want everyone who reads this to ask me 4 questions. Any 4, no matter how random. I have to answer them honestly. In turn, you have to post this message in your own journal, and you have to answer the questions that are asked of you ( Read more... )

I love your lj layout! Is it a custom job, or did you base it on an available style?
I love the pink!

Thank you! :)

It's a custom job. Friended you, btw.

Errrr......

Silly questions coming:

Your mood icons are aliens. Yet you say kiss a snake. Is the Alien called Snakey? (ducking).

In your breadbox of affections, am I a crumb?

(my highschool yearbook most used saying was ....In my breadbox of affections you are very much larger than a crumb.)

Have you ever had oatmilk with chocolate syrup.

Would any Goa'uld consider me a host?
(ducking)

You know it occurred to me that Bill Gates would be a great host for Apophis simply because he is who he is. Wicked grin showing.

Cough.

Now for the serious questions.

If you were intstantly healed, what would you be doing that you are not now.

To where would you trave;?

If you could change one quality about yourself, what would that quality be?

You love photography. Who or what would you love to photograph, were it possible to capture such an image.

Silly questions don't have to be answered but serious ones do.

Huggles.

*grins* I think the aliens are cute. I love the sassips (they're over at _leavingterra now), but I just wanted something different to look at. And the thought of Bill Gates with gold lipstick terrifies me.

1. Huh. Going back to school, I think. If physical limitations didn't exist, I'd be studying graphic design.

2. Lots of places. Heck, at the moment I'd consider going to Richmond to be "travel." I'd just be happy to revisit the beach, though, as I haven't seen it in six or seven years.

3. I'd be more self-disciplined and studious. I have the attention span of a gnat, and a shelf-full of Egyptology books that I can't bribe myself to finish.

4. Suburban landscape by moonlight/streetlight. There are a lot of images out there of the DC landmarks at night, but few night-based nature photos.

Um, wow. That's a tough act to follow. My questions aren't going to me anywhere near as thought provoking, since I've been walking around in a brain fog all week.

Hmm...

I adore the design for this journal. But what will happen to it when you hair is no longer pink? :-)

Okay, I've got it:

How did your hubby propose to you?

What was your wedding like?

If you could do it all over again, would you change anything?

Do you have any advice on the subject to share with me that I might find helpful when planning my own?

*laughs* It will definitely change. Possibly *before* my hair is no longer pink. It's a bit... bright ( ... )

1. If you had the ability to choose one age and remain that for the rest of your life, what would it be?

2. What's your idea of the perfect way to spend a day?

3. Have you ever kissed a snake?

4. What's your favorite recipe?

1. 29. Grown up, but before I got ill and before I got wrinkles. ;)

2. Beautiful scenery, good company, good music, and good food. Or going to a Pagan festival with President Bush-- why, yes, I'm weird, why do you ask?

3. Nah, they usually get away too fast! (I was, though, the snakey version of the annoying little girl in Tiny Toon. When I was a kid I'd catch snakes and wander around the yard hugging them. After a couple of years of this they stopped coming out in the open, lol.)

4. My great-grandmother's German butter cookies. Takes a pound of butter, nine zillion cups of flour, all of my husband's strength to mix, and all day to make. But everyone loves 'em! :)

(Did you do this meme? I want to ask you questions!)

Going to put the questions up now :-D

*peers at the last one of the first question set* I like how you think. :)

1. board- Risk or Sorry
video- I'm not really much for video games. My husband got me "The Political Machine" last year, I like that. I kick much Democrat ass!
mind- and tell you all my strategies? Hell no! ;)

2. My wedding dress, all two times I've worn the thing. Walking through the door in 5 yards of black silk velvet gets a lot of attention. (I've also got a Maul costume. No cloak, but where I wore it was 80 degress inside, so the cloak wasn't worth the cost to have made.)

3. Cinnamon.

4. Marka Ragnos, Exar Kun, and Darth Bane
