[Taiwan's got herself a new haircut and a new outlook on life, and she's feeling pretty good about it all. But of course, there's just one thing missing to complete the picture - a completely new wardrobe. After all, shorter hair comes with a certain attitude, and there's no way that a modern, trendy nation like Taiwan wouldn't take full advantage of the opportunity to express herself through the means of a shopping spree in Mayfield's clothing shops. The only problem is that the American 1950s are a lot more conservative fashion-wise than Taiwan is really used to, so she isn't finding a whole lot that suits her tastes. Boots and skirts would be nice, but store after store seems to contain nothing but high heels and long, fairly conservative looking dresses. But she's making do with what she can get. After all, she's good enough to make the necessary alterations herself. She can be found in a number of situations for anyone else who happens to be out shopping on Monday afternoon on into the evening:
1. In and out of the ladies' dressing room, trying on all manner of combinations of clothing. She's getting as close as she can to what passes for trendy in her time, but there's still a certain blandness about it all.
2. Over by the jewelry counter, looking at accessories. She's already wearing the pretty silver necklace Hong Kong bought her for her birthday, but now she's thinking she might want some matching earrings to go with the short hair.
3. Trying on shoes, lack of stylish knee-high leather boots be damned. She'll probably be at this for quite some time, looking at everything from casual sneakers to dress shoes, high heels to winter boots.
4. Carrying way too many bags of clothing out of the store once she's done shopping. You may not even be able to see her behind all of the bags, except for the distinctive little ahoge curl sticking out to the side.
Pick a number, any number! She'll be at this more or less all day long.]
