Maria and Brendan broke up last night. We had been emailing back and forth and she told me that she wasn't happy and all. Then yesterday she called me on her way back down there and said she was definitely going to break up with him, but she didn't know when. Then today she calls me and tells me she did it last night. I was like, damn that was fast. It's been a long time coming. She said it had gotten so bad she didn't even want to go back down there because all they do is fight. But when I talked to her she was literally just as calm as she could be. Both times I talked to her. It's like she was positive she was doing the right thing. So I'm glad for her. She was telling me she's really really upset but she knows she made the right decision. I was just sort of stunned that this happened. I guess it's cuz I don't talk to her that often, but I was aware that they were having problems. So, yeah. Maria and Brendan are over, and she says she never wants to get back together with him so I'm guessing it's for good. She told me to spread the word, that's why I've devoted a whole entry to it.
