I need to stop updating from work. The typo re-reads are rather shameful.
LIVE FROM WORK!
I'm all moved in! The attic came together UBER cute. It's an artsy, cozy little space! I'm hoping it will inspire me during my stay. I already did my first painting in over a year (pics to come after touch ups) I'm not completely decided on how long I'll be hanging out here. As soon as my Realtor/Lender tell me I can get the mortgage I want. I'm able to save nearly 1000 a month here so I like to think it won't be too long :) It all went very smoothly and I had juuuuust enough time to unpack before getting the flu. 102.6 temp on Halloween. I totally missed out on the fun this year :( I'll make up for it over the next few months.
Still up for the promotion at work. Hope to hear something by next week. It would put me in a lead spot. No pressure or anything. I have a really good feeling about it though experience has taught me never to get excited! :P
Let's see what else...ITALY! I leave early next month! Got the hostels in order and after MUCH debate over my finances I ended up booking my long weekend in Ireland. I had planned on spending a day/night in Belfast this year (never got to play a tourist there) but threw out that idea for one evening in Cork so I can visit Sean. I've been promised a night on the town. My other 2 nights will be in Dublin hopefully invading upon Jarlath. Then there's Paris. That's in May with my sis who already booked the trip....in style. Something I'm not totally comfortable with while traveling but it should make for an interesting change of pace.
No more crazy overtime for now. Since the move is over and I can save plenty I see no further need to kill myself and NEVER see my friends. I'm hanging with Nikki for the first time in months tonight and last week I even managed a few hours of bowling with Chris, Petey, Mary, and Wowie.
