Ok... The Airport
Ok now, when you go to the airport, Atlanta Hartsfield, do not park you car where pickup or drop off or anywhere near that area as you will get towed. Since Monday I have been to the airport twice to pick up my mother and then my bother. both times the flights were delayed each by an hour and driving aruond in circles my not bother some, but twice in two days, damn i am dizzy. Not only did I waste gas, I became slightly frustrated. I mean come on.. obviously we are there to pick up people who have arrived, but can't we be allowed to park for 15 minutes in our car with out having to drive in circles continueously for an hour? you have the police out there directing traffic, but they can also monitor time attendance of cars who are diligently waiting for thier loved ones too. You can have your no stop zone and then you can have your temporary parking area that would let those of us who arrived on time to pick up, to not waste gas, maybe catch up on a book, article or something worthwhile for those 15 minutes. Is it my fault that the damn plane taxied for an hour, no it isn't. but to penelize me for sitting waiting when I am not in anyone's way...PAHLLEASE! Isaw one guy get towed, another get a ticket for just getting out of his car, I pulled over to wait for my brother that I see right in front of me about 3 car lengths away, there is this officer that is waving his flashlight between me in my car and my brother standing behind the officer and the officer is in way as he is in the lane I am trying to pull forward in. He stops me... the fucking idiot. I roll down the window on the passenger side and say I am picking up my brother, he right there, and then the officer goes, you can't park here, well duh? Are you freaking dumb-ass, didn't I just say that I was picking him up and he was rright there? of course i didn't say that to the officer asI did not feel like going to jail, but seriously... are they stupid. I can understand that they hear it all, but I did reply back, and say, he is behind you. Oh.. like he is surprised that someone was telling the truth for once. anyway that is my gripe - fucking airports.
