Hi and Hello!
WOW! It has been awhile huh? Well my last update was in May so let's see what has gone on since then. School is over! Thank goodness! I spent 12 days in B-more with Kenny after school then went down to Disneyworld to see some of my college program friends. Now I am at home being a scrapbooking bum...cutting and pasting and hanging out with my family. I just got bacl from Baltimore earlier today. I went up on Saturday so that Kenny and I could spend our one year anniversary together! We made it an entire year with only having a month of what others would consider a normal relationship. I can honestly say that I feel like this mile stone is a huge accomplishment not only for us, but for me. This year I have learned that is possible to love someone with every fiber of your being and that I can still keep my head on my shoulders while doing it. I have learned that love can make me miserably sad and blissfully happy all at the same time. I never knew that I could miss someone to the point of aching but yet be so happy to be able to call them mine even when they were across the country. The committment a man can give you when he really wants you around. That is another thing I have learned. I have also learned that I am so lucky to have a guy like Kenny. He has so many great qualities and I can't beleive that I have been lucky enough to call him mine for the past year! Since school got out I have had a tone of time on my hands which has lead me to start having a most horrible time with missing him. The distance was becoming an issue, but after this visit, any insecurities I might have had were swept away by the look in his eyes when I got off the plane...soooo to sum this part of my entry up. Kenny and I are better than ever and even though next year is going to proove to be an even BIGGER challenge with the shrinking of budgets and the airlines generous raising of airfare, we will make it through.
Sorry to be all mushy, but this is what I have been thinking about all summer.....although I have been doing other things! I have been working on Xi Delta social stuff! I hope to start scouting venues and booking places soon now that I have all of our dates pretty much figured out! I have made this killer calendar to give out at the first chapter because I am a nerd and I get really excited about organizing things! Otherwise everything else is good! I can't wait to see everyone! I miss everyone soooo much. And just for final thoughts... I am amazed that for the first 17 years of my life, home was a well...home and how home has changed so much over the past 2 years I will never know, but I think it is safe to say that I am the one changing, not it... but hopefully that is a good thing! OK well I am gonna go chill with my little brother.....because he rocks ( I forgot to say... Brian acheived his 3rd degree black belt on June 11th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYYY!) that's all for now! Goonight!
