It's been awhile!
Man! What a week! Well, let's see, where did I leave off, oh yes! Our pledge retreat! Well, it started off rough with the group divided, but then after a quick run to the grocery store for some munchies (come one, it was 11:30 and there were 13 girl...of course we needed snacks), we sat in a big circle and worked it out! After we worked through out little tift, I decided that I had the coolest pledge sisters ever! I really love each of those girls in their own way. So after we spent all morning freezing our rears off volunteering at the Strong Legs Fun Run.... a charity for the children's hospital, we all went home. That night I had some R&R and let my creative juices flow by doing my pledge scrapbook. I forgot how much i love scrapping my life!!! ok, you get that if you are a scrapper yourself! Anywho, Sunday was my get on the ball and get school work done. The most exciting event of the day was discovering 2 new HBO's on our university cable. Therefore, it was a pretty crappy and uneventful day, but then I got to hang out with Meredith, Randi, and Steph for awhile so then it was good again. Let's see, this week school was school. The french department has gone wacko! I had 2 exams in there these week and a lab due and I have an oral presentation tomorrow! AHHHH! As most of you know I am fairly southern so I definately boucher the french language. Oh well, I never claimed to be cool enough to speak french! Anyway, all of my other classes went well and I was elated to have my Stat professor actually teach me something this week! However, my econ teacher still can not convey a clear english thought to me. He is a really nice guy though, so we'll let it slide. Oh, one really fun thing this week was collecting money for our pledge philanthropy. We had a great response so yay to that! This weekend was good. I worked and got a few new things so that was exciting..what else. I did my fourth paper for my english class today and I am so glad that I am almost done with that class. I really don't enjoy English! Anyway, i need to practice my French so I better go, but everyone have a most fabulous Thanksgiving and be thankful for everything you have! OHHHHHHHHHHHHH I almost forgot, the countdown has begun! It has been 3 weeks to the day since I have seen Kenny :( but in just 11 very long days I get to see him! I am so excited!
