Miyagi
It's been awhile since I've updated on my fish, mostly because they're just fish now and not something I fret over.
I just have to say, however, that Miyagi is a frickin' beast. He's got this giant...bulge in his body and apparently it's dropsy. Dropsy is just a symptom, however. It's where the body fills up with fluid due to the kidneys failing from some kind of infection, but once the infection has reached the stage where its noticeable as dropsy, it's too late for the fish. It's ultimately fatal.
Miyagi has had this giant lump in his body that has been steadily growing for a couple of months now and he's just swimming around as happy as he's always been. He's like 'Fuck this shit, man. I'm going to be happy even if the middle of my body is ballooning to a size much bigger than my head.' This is probably why it took me so long to notice he was sick while the other two bettas were very mopey when they were ill.
This is my badass fish.
