Summary: Four times when Sam Winchester was the "New Kid" and once when he wasn't
July- August 1989
During the summer holidays, six year old Sam Winchester was excited and happy to have his brother and daddy to himself for a few weeks. No school whatsoever but unlike his brother, Dean, Sam loved the fact that in just a matter of weeks-- he would be back in Miss Ann's classroom with his new friend, Fred, by his side.
But then his daddy told Dean to pack up their things because they were moving. Sam never saw Miss Ann or Fred again.
July- August 1991
Sam was desperate. For the past two years, he had wished that he would be able to stay in one place so that he could go back to school and be with his old teacher and friends just once. But no such luck. No begging or pleading helped. Not even when he made a thousand promises that he would be a good boy and do his training without complaining.
They still moved and Sam still ended up being the "new kid" at a new school.
July-August 2001
As the years went by, Sam got used to his permanent nickname "New Kid". But now that he was going into his last year of high school, he knew that it was of the most utmost importance that he had to remain in one place so that he could achieve the grades that he needed for college.
He had almost succeed in actually doing the "back to school" thing. If only he had hidden the college brochures better so that his dad wouldn't find them.
July-August 2005
For the past three years, Sam loved the first day of back to school. His girlfriend and roommates made fun of it but he didn't care. For Sam, it was a thrill and a comfort knowing that on that very first day, he would not only meet the same friends he had made the year before but he would also have the same lecturers on occasion.
The best thing was that he was never the "new kid" again.
