She felt like a princess with her big billowy ball gown. She spun around and around the ballroom going from partner to partner. She knew that they were chasing her-- two of them, one with piercing blue eyes and the other with dark brown eyes.
She didn't know why they were looking for her but for some reason, a tiny voice told her that she couldn't let them catch her.
Strong arms grabbed her from behind and spun her around, her princessy ball gown floating around her serenely. She glanced up into his eyes, and gasped as she saw that they were piercing blue eyes. She tried to tug her arm away from him, listening to the voice inside her head.
Then...he called out her name and she stopped still. Her name on his lips sounded like a caress and a promise, of loving and being loved. Ignoring the voice in her head, she stepped up close to him. He leaned down, his black hair catching the light of the chandeliers, and kissed her.
She sunk into the kiss, so familiar to her lips that it felt like coming back home. He only stopped kissing her as the other one, the one with the dark brown eyes, walked up to them smirking.
"It is about time, I've been looking for you for a long time. I've come to take you back, home to Haven." He said to her as he too grabbed a hold of her arm. As he started to move through the slowly vanishing crowd of dancers, she looked back behind her as the man with the piercing blue eyes vanished as well.
With a gasp, she shot up from where she was lying on the floor. She glanced at her son lying on the white floor next to her, so grown-up-- having lived without her for so long. She caressed his black hair, so much like his father's and recalled her dream.
She vowed that the Barn would not stop her or her son from returning home to Haven. Even if in her dreams, it tried to stop her. She knew that the two men she had left behind in Haven would stop at nothing to bring her and her son home back to them.
