It is with great pleasure that I write to inform you that you are co-winner of the McNickle Journalism Award. The award is being given to acknowledge your current work in the journalism board of study, your contributions over the course of time you have been at Purchase, and your achievements in journalism. This special award is in memory and recognition of Mike McNickle, a Purchase graduate and journalist who died too young.
The ceremony is Tues. April 18 at 4:30, in the Performing Arts Center. It is my understanding you will be called to the stage to receive the award by Dean Jonathan Levin. You are welcome to invite anyone to this ceremony. Be aware that you will also be awarded the same prize in our Humanities ceremony on May 3, noon in the Lobby of the Performing Arts Center. You may also invite family and friends to that event.
The co-winner of this award is Danica Hall.
