(no subject)
Wow.
What an amazing day.
First off, I made semi-finals yesterday. I was so sure that I was going to get 2 downs and drop out, but I didn't! So I spoke in semis today, and then I actually made finals. Of course I didn't qualify or make alternate cuz I was up against all varsity people, but I am so siked that I even made it that far. It realy makes me feel like I've hit the next leval in extemp. I feel like im going somewhere and actually accomplishing something.
Also, Ron qualed (well, first alternate, but one of the kids who qualed is going for congress), Maya and Rene got second alternate, and Yian got first alternate. A good day had by all.
I got to know Yian and Maya and Rene a lot better today which was great. Also, I saw Brian which was fun. I feel like I'm becoming more a part of the team, but I'm also sad that this is happening so late in the year. Now I wish I had started speech team in the beginging of the year. :(......at least it's happening now.
After the tounament I went to BOWLING and PIZZA which was awesome. I really need to have a social life OUTSIDE of speech team. I just got home and I am SO exausted, but also very happy and accomplished.
I'm so tired that I'm off to bed, but a good night to all.
