TSUBASA: A Valentine's Con Report!
TSUBASA: THE HOTNESS EXPERIENCE
Yesterday was Tsubasa's first Tokyo con, and I was in attendance for the awesomeness. ♥
Okay, so 1) Takki and Tsubasa had a LOT of sex yesterday morning, 2) Takki promised to spend the next sixteen hours doing nothing but Tsubasa, or 3) both, because I have never seen the man that energetic. O____O He was laughing to himself and smiling even when he was trying to be Serious Idol Who Is Super Hot Right Now and he was just generally ultra adorable. And really hyper. ♥
• His opening MC was really long! And really cute. He mentioned that T&T will be in a CM soon for a cosmetics company. Then he talked about how it's Valentine's and he brought up Takki a few times, but I didn't catch a lot of what he said, half because I couldn't distinguish words and half because 90% of his fans were going "OOOOO~" XDDD TSUBASA FANS: AWARE OF OUR IDOL'S MARRIAGE.
• He stopped midsentence, laughing, and said, "What is this, the final concert? What's with the cooing?" And then we did it more and he started honest to rainbows giggling.
• He talked about his facial hair, but I missed some of it because I thought he was saying ヒデ, not 鬚 and I didn't get why he wasn't adding 君. But anyway, what I did hear was, "I had it recently but the fans were really cold about it so I shaved for you." XDDDD He sounded so petulant. XDDDD
• During the middle MC he went, "It's seriously hot up here," so naturally all of us shouted, "STRIP, THEN." And then we had a five-minute argument with our friend Tsubasa about how he should be getting naked and him resisting and bitching.
FANS: OOOO~!
TSUBASA: I'm not doing it. I'm not a pervert.
FANS: ...(BULLSHIT, FIRST OF ALL, AND ALSO,) TAKE IT *OFF*.
TSUBASA: Impossible.
FANS: OOOO~!
TSUBASA: What, I have to be shirtless for you to appreciate the concert?
FANS: ...STRIP.
TSUBASA: *coy voice* I'm not stripping~
That, for five minutes. XD
• He brought up the upcoming Takitsuba DVD and he was like, "You all knew about it, right?"
FANS: NO. WE DID NOT.
TSUBASA: Really?
He seemed genuinely surprised that we'd just found out recently. Then he said more but I didn't catch all of it. Then he said,
TSUBASA: You knew, right? *points to first stand*
FIRST STAND: NO!
TSUBASA: *points to third stand* You knew, right?
THIRD STAND: YES.
TSUBASA: XDDD You guys are sweet. You don't have to lie, though.
So, yeah, Tsubasa got jokingly defensive and was all, "I totally told you all," and the women around me were yelling back, "YOU DID NOT." Tsubasa's relationship with his fans is beautiful, seriously. XDDD
• Imagine was. UNGH. Really really hot. Like. NEVER BEFORE HAS THERE BEEN HOTNESS LIKE IMAGINE. I've seen it in person now six times (Pz, Takitsuba, and this tour, because I kind of like this idol and wish to see him in all of the things) and every time I see him do that dance he gets even better. *______*
• This was seriously a hardcore Takitsuba con, even though Takki wasn't there. Tsubasa brought up Takki every time he had the mic in his hand to talk. He said they had plans for a single and an album this year and they've been really nostalgic with all the tenth year anniversary reminders. And, of course, the VTR is Tsubasa's alter ego and Takki talking about how they're like a married couple, so YEAH, marriage all over the place.
• Backborn was incredible. Just. REALLY REALLY INCREDIBLE. He sounded so RAW and he actually lost his breath at one point. And the screaming with his voice all gravelly NGK. TSUBASA: A SEXY PERSON.
• He had these pants, guys. They were painted. On. To. His. Legs. I swear, the pants he wore on Best Artist was nothing compared to these pants. Ungh. And like, he wore them for the majority of the concert. *____* The pants he wore at the beginning were nothing but silver glitter, and the pair he changed into after those were two coats of black paint.
• He gave a really sweet intro to Mihatenu Yume. He said that he and Takki are deeply grateful to their fans, and he talked about how much he treasures Takitsuba. He looked so earnest and almost solemn, it really stood out from the whole rest of the concert. During the song itself, he had a special video going on behind him of Takitsuba cons thoughout the years. He started crying and tried to hide it by looking back at the band and shaking his head and wiping his face. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
• And then this happened:
TSUBASA: Recently, my DVD from last year's concert was released, and I've had fan meets in Nagoya, Sapporo, and Osaka. Today, if you bought the DVD, you'll get a poster, a wristband, and Takizawa.
AUDIENCE: *SHRIEK*
KYA: *TEXTS FRIEND* TAKKI!!!
TSUBASA: Ha! Knew it. You're all Takki fans.
AUDIENCE: *ANGRY EH*
TSUBASA: XDDD Sorry. I knew you were expecting it. *gestures to ceiling* Sorry, Takizawa.
KYA: *texts friend* Wait wait. Gdi he's trolling.
TSUBASA: *giggles to himself*
OUR IDOL, THE TROLL.
• Encore time! He did Venus and ¡Vamos! Ala again, with us shouting for repeated encores. Even after two or three encores of ¡Vamos! Ala, we kept chanting.
AUDIENCE: ONE MORE! ONE MORE!
TSUBASA: *cups ears*
AUDIENCE: TSUBASA!
TSUBASA: *cups ears!*
AUDIENCE: TSUBASAAAA!
TSUBASA: *cups ears!!*
AUDIENCE: TSUBASAAAAAAA!
TSUBASA: *CUPS EARS!!!*
AUDIENCE: TSUBASAAAAAAAAA!
TSUBASA: Hmm. *walks over to one of the Tokyo dancers, all of whom are holding the Ole pose with their arms in the air* Did they say "one more"?
DANCER: XD *nod*
TSUBASA: What should we do?
DANCER: ...Do one more. :)
AUDIENCE: :DDDD
TSUBASA: *nodnod, crosses stage to another dancer* I think them up there *points to my stand* have been really energetic. Should we do another for them?
MY STAND: *VEHEMENT WAVING*
DANCER: *grin* Let's do it.
TSUBASA: *nod* All right then, ONE MORE. *walks over to replace mic in the stand, smiles* Of course I'll do my best tomorrow, too, but tonight has been incredible. Thank you, really. Normally I've only been doing two encores, but you guys are so enthusiastic, I'll do one more. Kimi to Nara!
• He thanked us again and said his usual, "タッキー＆翼の今井翼でした," and started to leave. He paused at the blackout curtains next to the stairs, turned around, blew us a kiss, and then turned to the curtain, put his hands up on the frame, and did a little side-to-side hip dance.
And then he VANISHED through the curtains.
SO THAT WAS AMAZING. :DDDD
Hmmm, what should I do today.
Ah, yes, SEE THE SHOW IN THE ARENA. :DDDDDDDDD
