~PLAYZONE 2011~
I AM IN LOVE WITH YARA.
AND TATSUMI.
AND TSUBASA, BUT, YOU KNOW, DUH. I WENT TO SEE IT FOR HIM.
I ALSO LOVE ABC-Z NOW BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MOST PRECIOUS SONG EVER. THE CHORUS IS "WE ARE ABC-Z" REPEATED NINE HUNDRED AND TWELVE TIMES. AND ACCORDING TO THE TEENAGED ABC-Z FANGIRLS BEHIND ME, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO RESPOND, "ABC-Z!" AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS SOMETIMES. NOT ALL THE TIME. JUST SOMETIMES. XDDD
OKAY. TIME FOR SOME REPORTING.
OKAY SO!
My seat was excellent, luckily! Second floor, right in the middle, so I had a clear, unobstructed view of the whole stage. I could see well enough to recognize the three people I knew and just had fun playing "Memorize That Junior" with the rest. XD
Okay! So, the show began with swirly stylized text on a scrim covering the stage. It lifted and the first dance number began. And for this I was pretty much focused on Tsubasa's hips, so I can't report on much here except HIIIIPS. (If you want me to look anywhere else, Tsubasa, you'll stop the perm.)
But on a serious note, Tsubasa's singing is incredible live. His voice is rich and deep and I've always thought he and Takki were among the better singers in JE, but his performance tonight really cemented that. Also he is scorchingly hot. Even with the stupid perm. When it's drenched in sweat it's not so bad.
What I remember best are the first three numbers because the dancing was excellent. Especially the third number. Actually, the third number was my favorite of the entire show, soooo let me just go ahead and skip straight to that.
チャージ
THIS NUMBER.
I WOULD BUY THE DVD THREE TIMES JUST TO HAVE THIS NUMBER.
Dancing is one of my favorite things to watch. I really should have danced more when I was younger. I still might find some kind of classes because god this number made me incredibly happy to watch.
It was technically perfect. Every movement precise and in sync and I akwjebawb the music is bouncy and the beat is constant and gave this perfect rhythm for the dance and THIS NUMBER.
Yara was in it, and I was watching him for most of the number because holy god, Yara. I'm not sure who the others are, but they were incredible. I'll have to crosscheck my pamphlet and figure out who they are because I fangirl the hell out of their dancing now. *_______*
Okay, I will probably go on forever about this number so MOVING ON.
Tsubasa in general was incredible. I love watching that man dance. *___* He was in top form, too! Very pliable. XD It always astounds me how supple he is when he dances-and he's at the point now where he just dances because he's not really focusing on getting it right. It's like he knows he's got it, so he's just opened up to the music. It's really fun to see how he's improved over the years. ♥
He didn't troll very much, to my surprise. XD He was being a very nice senpai for the most part. His one moment of Trollbasa-ness was during the Wander the Audience While Singing portion. He walked down the aisle, touching fans' hands, and sat down on one girl's armrest with this "Why yes, I am supposed to be here, why?" smile. He chilled there for a good ten seconds, then shook the girl's hand and headed back up to the stage.
It's probably a sign that Playzone's coming to a close that whenever a fangirl grabbed Tsubasa's arm with both hands and wouldn't let go, you could see Tsubasa's face getting pissier and less composed. At one point he jerked his arm away and the fan's face was very much oops. XDDD Tsubasa wasn't in the mood to be pawed at tonight. Which is fair. ...But still funny. XD
Tatsumi was in a sketch with three other Juniors, and he was adorable and hilarious. He has great comic timing. XD I hope he debuts someday. I shall keep my fingers crossed for you, Tatsumi, you adorable human being.
Most of the Juniors were pretty close to me in age, too, so most of the show was perv-free until some of the younger Juniors had a dance number on playground equipment. I am so far from kidding. I could hear Takki giggling backstage somewhere.
What else, what else. They also showed a bunch of clips from Old Playzone, circa 1986-1995. Clips of Shounentai and KinKi Kids and awkjbewak Koichi's old hair. XDD Tsuyoshi's old hair, for that matter. XDD ilu, KinKi. ♥
That's...all I can think of right now.
Ah wait!
After the last number and the curtain went down, 95% of fans started up their traditional "COME BACK AND BE HOT SOME MORE PLEASE" clap. And to give them credit, they raised the curtain something like three times. They didn't do much, just kind of waved and jumped on each other and acted like tired boys, but it's a scripted show, so they can't exactly pull out a rehearsed number the way units can during cons. The last time they raised the curtain, some of the Juniors had gone to their knees and made a "train." Most of the audience laughed.
Then the curtain went down for the very last time and the fans kept that clap going for a good thirty seconds. I left around thirty-five while only a few people were trickling out, and three seconds after I was out the door, everyone else poured out of the theater. I'm just glad leaving early didn't backfire on me. XDDD
Oh, Playzone. You were truly a magical show.
...Enough of this normal typing.
GUYS TSUBASA'S HIPS ARE GODLIKE.
AND YARA. YARA IS KING OF EVERYTHING.
WILL SOMEONE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHO WAS IN チャージ?
