everything, my everything
gone into the quiet wood
the forestra, a miracle of our once linked minds
leaves, she leaves
and falls like the autumn sky
blinded by the darkness of another kind of blanket
the earth clings and separates our souls
like icy blue glass marbles sinking into
her oceanic floor
dusk sweeps in and dawn carries you through
until we become them
once again
treading the globe, every minute between us
guarding you as you rest
the stars and trees protect my breath
swimming through your distance
never forget sweet summer winds
and ghosts of midnight fog
brought into your thoughts and gone forever
washed away by the sand of chinese memories
abandoned, the rain village of boarded spirits
locked inside, your light calls me home
and time, my love, is a bridge across the sky
from your mind to mine
I will find you in a dream, lost and hunting for me
across the virgin soil, raw and cool
an eternal hour, through the smooth black solar pool
again and again, you will find me here.
in this secret space, when dusk settles in
dimming reality, and making life
fade.
