GLEE FINALE DESERVES EPIC CAPSLOCK. IT WAS AWESOME.
OH MY GOD, THE GLEE FINALE. IT IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE.
So, um, the Bohemian Rhapsody/Birth of Drizzle Beth was the most amazing thing ever. Like, I don't think I've ever seen a scene that well done on tv. The actors, the song, the way it was incorporated, the cutaways--it was fantastic. I cannot gush over the cinematography of it enough. All actors involved in that scene deserve an award of some sort. Puck's facial expression were priceless, and "I want Mercedes to come with me." = LOVEEEEE. QUINN, YOU NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME ADORE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART.
QUINN'S MOM. I'm really happy about how she came back, although I would have liked to see a bit more anger on Quinn's part.
Shelby and Beth: I called that three episodes ago, WHAT.
EMMA. EMMA RULED THIS ENTIRE EPISODE. YELLING AT FIGGINS, DATING A DENTIST, I DON'T CARE--I LOVED HER HERE. I mean, she told Figgins OFF. SHE OWNED HIM. I LOVED IT.
All the musical numbers in the episode ROCKED. OUT. The new version of Don't Stop Believin' RULED. They did all the songs great justice. And Naya Rivera needs more solos. I really love her voice. And I wish that Brittany had a solo. I would love to hear her sing.
SUE. SUE. SHE NEVER FAILS TO MAKE ME LOVE HER. EVER. WETHER SHE'S BEING EVIL OR NICE, I JUST LOVE HER. And she was right. I mean, VA was great. VA was the best--but they were mechanical. There was no soul. Jesse singing that 'nothing really matters' is perfect, because nothing really matters to him. ND HAD THE HEART AND I DON'T CARE WHAT OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN SAYS, HEART WILL ALWAYS WINNNNNN.
Also: I sort of ship Finchel now. Just, he said he loved her and then they did Faithfully and--it was just too cute and sweet and perfect.
THE END: Kurt's little hand grab with Mercedes and Quinn, Brittana linking pinkies (and matching body language with a KNOWN COUPLE if you noticed, heads on shoulders, just like Finchel...what? I'm a crazy Brittana shipper? Oh okay.), Matt and Mike's fist bump--I love their bromance. I think they have a bromance. I just cannot get over it. All the things they said when they sang To Sir With Love, just absolutely killed me. It was amazing. It harkened back to the first 13. I liked the back 9, I did, but I liked the first thirteen better. This, however, is my favorite episode OF ALL TIME. OF ALL TIME.
