Somewhere after getting drenched in Bangalore one weekend, and then in Chennai the next…

The sun finally showed up in Chennai yesterday, and then promptly started to set.

Dusty skies give good sunsets as anyone who has witnessed a Delhi summer would tell you. Cloudy skies also give you decent sunsets though...

Very pretty. I remember some really awesome beachside Chennai sunsets from previous vacations and such.

Also, if I remember correctly, Chennai can do with the occassional good drenching or two.

Thank you:) It sure can, though it rarely gets a drenching at this time of the year:o Neither does B'lore for that matter... the weather has been quite crazy! Rained in Hyd too!

Hmmm, I always thought it rained a lot in Chennai, and SunTV would keep showing scenes of flooding and cars being flushed off water, LOL.

It doesn't rain much actually... usually only during the NE monsoon in Nov-Dec. And even that used to be fairly limited. but it's been going beserk the last 2-3 years... And this year it goes and pours now.. never rains this time, not even in Bangalore.

The rain did make the news... there's a test match starting tomorrow:) So the papers were full of pics of the pitch covers:))

We got a very, very clear view of the inner one, and a hazy view of the secondary one.
