Day off! Update!
Hey everyone! Sorry it's been awhile since I've really updated here. Things are ok. ( : You're catching me on a day off, so I'm more cheerful than usual.
I've pretty much just been working. I work weird hours, so it's hard to do much else. Once a week I try to have dinner with Jon and socialize a little bit. ( : This was my first day off in two weeks and it feels fantastic. I've been getting weird hours and covering other people's shifts a lot, so I kind of got screwed out of my days off. Last week was the worst. I had to start working early on Monday because the lady working was worried about the weather and wanted to get home, and then Wednesday, my day off, the guy that was closing the store called in sick. At least I went into overtime. ( ;
Luckily I still got to have some fun last week. ( : I had worked a short shift Tuesday (only til 8pm) and after that went into Rochester to have a sleepover with my friend Brandy from HS. She was home from school for spring break and it was GREAT to see her. It brought to my attention the fact that I really don't ever hang out with girls. It was really nice. We stayed up til 4am just lying in bed and talking, then we got up at noon, had some breakfast, talked some more, and then went to the mall. ( : Usually my mall shopping is with Jon or my friend Mike, so it was pretty exciting to go with a girl. We went to Victoria's Secret, Gap Body, Bath and Body Works, and Claires. All the shops that guys usually don't want to go in. (Though Jon is very good about Victoria's Secret, and often helps me make selections.) It was great fun, and we got matching underwear. ( ;
After hanging out with Brandy I even got to have a quick dinner with Jon before I got called into work Wednesday. ( : We went to Panaras and had some time to chat.
Often at the end of night at work while I'm mopping and cleaning up I think about different journal entries I could write, but then get home and I'm kind of sleepy and I mess around online for awhile, but never get around to actually typing up an entry.
Anyway, just thought I'd give a quick entry to let you all know I'm still alive and all that. (I have been leaving the occasional comment on the occasional journal, and I have been reading everything, so don't worry, I haven't really abandoned you.) Hope everyone is doing well.
