Little bits of wisdom for BBB customers.

If you ever shop at Bed Bath and Beyond, here are some things that might make the Customer Service lady's life ten times better. I keep forgetting to make a list, since most the time I only think of making a list when I'm annoyed at work.. but anyway! Here it is..

* We work the registers every day. Unless you work at another BBB and are visiting ours, you do not know more about the coupons/return policy/whatever than we do. Seriously.

* Being a cashier doesn't mean you're stupid and can't do anything else. It means we know what we're doing, and we're there to stop people from stealing/being jack asses while others give service on the floor and try to do the same thing.

* Coupons. Read the damn things. Beneath the 20% sign it says what it's for. Stop complaining 'Only one item?! Not the whole thing?!' No. Read the damn paper and stop looking like an ass. Read your coupon. Thank you.

* Coupon Adjustment. We see them everyday, atleast 50 times, so when you walk up with a coupon and a reciept, we kinda get the idea you want to apply a coupon to something you already purchased. Since.. You know, you don't have anything to buy or return. So when we ask if it's an adjustment, don't go 'Yeah, I was in here the other day and she told me that if I brought my coupon back I'd be able to get 20% off' because I hear it all friggin day from people who obviously don't know what the word 'adjustment' means. Same goes for 'exchange'.

* Exchange. When we ask if you'd like to exchange it for something ELSE, that isn't secret code for, 'do you want the same damned thing'. It means, exchange. So please, don't say no, do the return, and then say 'I need to do more shopping' cause it makes us want to slap you. Seriously.

* Stop lieing. Don't tell me 'No, it wans't used' when I remember you buying it yesterday, brand new, and you're now returning it with dog hair all inside. Hmm, we don't sell dog hair here last time I checked.

*grumbles* Thank you. ;)

More to come later, I'm sure.
