What a weekend!
OMG!!! i never thought i would say this, but thank God this weekend is over. allow me to share an overview with you:
FRIDAY: i spent the entire day at North Atlanta High School, except for the 3 hours at the football game that night where i had to dance in the cold. i returned to NAH @ 11pm and left the school at 12:30am. usually i would leave at 12 but $250 was stolen so the entire band was forced to be searched. i dont know if the money was found. i hope it was.
SATURDAY: this was suppsed to be the best day of my life because my driver's test was scheduled for that day. HA!! Coronation and Homecoming dance that night= no driver's test and must reschedule. initially i was supposed to perform at the band exhibition, but i had a 10am hair appointment and was the only silver star that didnt show up. the band threatened to not allow me to perform at the battle of the bands, but i did anyway. newhoo....to add on to the stress, i show up at the hair salon at 10:15. homegirl doesnt start on my hair until 1, which means i didnt leave that shop untl about 3pm. giving me less than 2 hours to go and find some shoes and jewelery at Greenbriar. (yuck!) i went to NAH around 5:30ish in all my sexyness. strutted down the aisle for 2 minutes and sat down for 3 hours. went to the dance at 11pm. left NAH at midnight.
SUNDAY: reported to NAH at 10am. i practiced in the heat for 3 hrs w/o water. performed at the Geaorgia Dome and went bk to NAH aroung 8ish. left NAH around 9ish. when i got home i was dead tired so i took a lil nappy nap and extended my essay.
i would talk about midterms but im trying to remain positive. tacky/pj day was a hit. everybody was so beautiful.
I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO MR. MCGEE FOR CANCELLING PRACTICE TODAY! I GET TO SLEEP! FINALLY!!!
