I'm not a psychiatrist and I do not pretend to know psychology but I've had a lesson like this during my medical secretary courses. And I know, based on this book, that some frustrations like that can be hard on someone.

Evan and I have quite some things in common, that's why I like him because somehow, I THINK I understand. When he's all grumpy and always seems on the defensive, as when he rather likes to stay silent and watch than talk. You see that he's no comfortable while answering questions, he's kind of mecanic when he does. I kind of do the same.

And I think that's part of the whole "Johnny-Evan rivalry" because Johnny is so free and himself, he's happy with who he is and yells it to the world. I think Evan would like to be like him, free to be who he wants to be but he's "stuck" into his image. The image he has to give to people. Like people said "You have to give this image of yourself no matter what" and he does because he's been told so.

I hope, if I'm right of course (I don't pretend to know his mind), he'll free himself.
