Day 4 - your favorite movie and what it’s about.
I thought I would write something a bit lighter, compared to yesterday's. So....
There are many movies I love. But I think my favorite will always be "The Sound of Music". It has been since I'm a kid. My mother put it to calm me whenever I was crying and I fell asleep listening to its songs. I know them by heart, must it be in French or in English.
I think everybody knows that story... The movie is about a becoming nun named Maria. She's not very good at following rules. She sings in the abbey, even if it's strictly forbidden. One day, the reverent mother calls Maria in her office. She's telling her that perhaps, she wasn't made for being a nun and that she found her a job as a governess to take care of 7 children, of the Von Trapp familly. The father, Captain Von Trapp, is widowed and the other nannies went away. Maria's a bit reluctant at first, but then, she faces her problems and gets along with the children while their father is on holidays. She slowly begins to fall in love with the Captain but, when he's back from his journey, she learns he's engaged with a baronness...
I won't tell you what happens next, it would kill the suspens ;-)
There is another movie I would like to tell you about, even if I believe, it is not a very popular movie. It's called "Young Sherlock Holmes" played by Nicholas Rowe, Alan Cox and Sophie Ward. I've always been a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and I wasn't older than 7 when I saw this movie for the first time. I have to admit, I had my very first crush on someone when I saw Nicholas Rowe. :)
The plot is about James Watson, the student at that time, who meets his friend and collegue, the famous Sherlock Holmes. Holmes is still a young lad but he's already very respected. Every year, he wins the challenge of his classmate Dudley, which consists of finding a trophy in less than an hour. But that year, something is quite not the same. There had been a mysterious wave of murders all around the University and Holmes, along with Watson, is very determined to find who the murderer is.
If you are able to find it, I really encourage you to watch it! It's an amazing adventure movie ♥
