This was a big disappointment. Again, the term artbook is being abused. I should have learned from my previous experience, but no, I was too mesmerized by the two names of my favorite artists known for their watercolors. Ahh~ the price of being a fan.

Here’s the breakdown on the two books: The correct term for them are postcards, so when they say 50 pages, it’s actually only 25 images. They are bonded like a book, except you have to flip through every page in a 35 degree angle or else the pages are going to fall off. This made the viewing experience down to none unless you rip every page out first. But even then, the shrunk sized images are not even worth more than a glance because all the details you expect to see are gone; they become more blend and full of flaws, the images online are even bigger than these postcards. Another thing that I have come to dislike is the fact that about 85% of the images are recycled from previous artbooks, novel illustrations, etc. I can bet for sure that if they ever release a real artbook (which they will), you’re going to see a lot of the same images. So, if you got time, I’ll say skip this product.

The only thing they did get right was the paper quality for the postcards. They are very thick, period.
